It is great to have this on my Boat as if the Prop Shaft fails it is easy to drill if there is no power. It has worked before.

Bought this for my son 6 to experience hand tools works great for that. Level of finish and attention to detail in manufacture seems a little underwhelming but for my purposes it works well

A good old fashioned drill. Perfect.

The chuck does not allign meaning smaller bits cannot be secured. Item appears to be second hand as handle and mating surfaces show signs of wear and damage. This would be overlooked if the chuck alligned and it functioned. I now need to buy a new chuck to make this work as its not worth my time to send it back. Save the hastle, spend a bit more and get a solid tool.

Drill arrived in a box that looked like it had seen better days. Quite fitting for the product, though. I don't remember the description mentioning this might be a recycled unit. This looked like it had been picked up off some retired woodworker's bench, covered in a mysterious white powdery substance. This may have been to preserve the contents(?). Reminded me of tools like my grandfather would have had in his workshop under the front room of his home. Only thing is, my grandfather's drill would have 'driven' straighter and truer than this one does. When drilling with this product the bit wobbles a little. But that's okay because you're not expected to pay more than it's worth. Plus you can never truly put a price on memories. Every time I use this I'll think of my grandfather - and that's no small thing.

This hand drill works great for my purposes. The chuck is a bit crudely fashioned, but it holds the bit well, and when I needed to make it open wider to accept the bit the first time, I just had to push it in with the end of the bit, and then tighten it up again. I didn't have any problems pulling the bit out of the wood, as long as I didn't try to reverse crank it as I pulled it out. Other than the chuck, the quality seems decent, and it was within a few p of the cheapest solution I could find, so I'll quite satisfied.

The quality of this product is low. The drill itself was OK but the chuck teeth were badly made and could not hold a drill bit accurately so the bit always wobbled. A shame as normally this brand sells inexpensive tools which perform.

This is not a drill for heavy work and putting up shelves or building large projects. What it is ideal for is small work where you need to control the drill or avoid breaking the item you're working on. So far I've drilled a car number plate, and a small hole in wood to then screw into. Are there better ones out there? Possibly. But for the price I can chuck it into the toolbox for the odd job no worries.

Habe hiermit zwischen Stromkabeln durchbohren können um eine Glastüre zu montieren. Ideale Ergänzung für kritische Bohrgebiete. Wäre mit dem Elektrobohrer zwar schneller gegangen, hätte aber auch so die Stromversorgung lahm legen können.

Telle que sur la photo. Cet outil ancien présente toutes les marques d'usure d'un usage intensif. Elle a été nettoyée, graissée. Amazon m'a accordé une réduction pour objet de brocante. Je pense que ce genre de vente devrait être réservé à des sites comme Ebay et certainement pas sur Amazon !!! Je garde cette chignole en mémoire de mon grand-père, mais il est vrai qu'elle va m'être utile pour certains marquages.

Rusted parts with chipping paint. Not new or improper storage in warehouse. Handle came loose first time using it. However it is still functional.
