I have waited 3 months to write this review to make sure the product did or did not work. It truly works. I have strong hair growth on my legs and underarms and have tried everything on the market to handle this. I have always gone back to shaving as it was the quickest and cheapest, but I needed to shave daily but could not due to the rashes that I would get. I started out as the directions stated at the lowest level 3 times a week and increased the level till I reached 6. In the first 2 weeks I didn't notice any real difference in hair growth, but I did notice that when I shaved legs and underarms I no longer got the rash that always came with it and I could go 3 to 4 days without shaving instead of 1. By the 4th week the hair growth was noticeably thinner and some areas were completely smooth. I cut back to once a week still at level 6 and the hair growth was less and less and I was only shaving every 2 weeks and no rashes. By the end of 2 months my legs were very smooth and no rashes and there was little to no hair under my arms. It is now been 3 months and I am only down to 3 weeks for treatments and my legs and underarms have very little hair growth. I am only catching up with the stray hairs that show up here and there and very little shaving. My husband has even started using it to keep the stray hairs off his cheeks and have a cleaner beard line and also on the back of his neck. One thing to note this does not work on gray hairs. My husband has some gray hairs on the back of his neck and those are still coming in. Overall great product and would highly recommend. Also the cooling aspect is a great plus, especially on the face.

it works. used more in the beginning and now not as much after several months no hair growth and skin is feeling smooth. i did not have to shave at all. i did research before purchasing JOVS Venus ice core hair removal device model JR5-W and it's a valid product. checked it out on fda website. it also offers lifetime or unlimited flashes so it will not run out of flashes unlike other laser products. one of the best purchase i made and happy with results

I bought this a little over a year ago. After swimming with some friends. One said “oh my gosh girl shave your legs, how does your husband have S**with you” I had shaved that same exact morning, exfoliated, before and after, shaved twice actually. My hair just grew so fast and coarse. I always hated my leg hair especially. I have to say it works really well. Sometimes it’s a little finicky but overall I really love it. I could shave twice a day and still have scratchy leg hairs a few hours later, all it was getting a little bit cold and they would be back. I have used this about once a week for 4 weeks and saw a huge difference. With continued use of “when I had time” maybe once a month for the rest of the year. I can honestly say I hardly shave my legs now. My hair is much thinner, softer and not nearly as dark when it does grow in. I don’t get that scratchy leg feeling anymore. Best luck has been the legs. Armpits is softer, thinner but still grows pretty fast. My legs truly have whole areas now that don’t grow at all 🙏. Bikini area is finally getting less coarse. It still grows back in pretty quickly. When I use it I do my legs, armpits and bikini area- all parts of my body have been treated equally. I will continue to stick with it in hopes my armpits and bikini get to the same hairless level as my legs. The SR light has seemed to help my face as well. I’m going to try to be more consistent this month. I’m not disappointed at all. The price is decent. Overall very happy. DO NOT hit your tattoo. I accidentally zapped the edge of mine and it did sting for awhile. No damage to the tattoo though. It doesn’t really hurt ever. Just gives a little snap feeling from time to time. Like a rubber band kind of. Oh and I have done the top of my toes. It has stopped growing back also. My husband usually keeps the kids out of my room when I have time to treat my body. Just avoid one of them looking at the laser. He’s noticed a difference as well. Often says how smooth my legs are now. He was always kind but knew I hated how scratchy my legs would feel.

I am so so so happy I got this! I could not get over how nice the packaging alone was. And the laser itself is perfect! It’s not too big or bulky so it’s not uncomfortable to hold. It’s super easy to learn to use with just the little manual it came with, if you’ve never done at home laser treatments before (like I hadn’t). It has 6 different intensity levels you can set it to, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. It has 6 different modes for different skin types and hair thickness: arms, legs, armpit, face, bikini area, and post-treatment skin care mode. The head on the laser turns/rotates to perfectly fit for different areas of the body. The laser head is a sapphire ice touch screen, for cooling and soothing during and after your little sessions! Freaking amazing. I’ve had zero discomfort and am so happy with it all. It comes with the handheld laser, an additional filter/lens for post-treatments, glasses to protect your eyes during IPL, a razor, and the adaptor. I wanted to get started using this consistently before summer, because I’m tired of shaving every day going out to our pool. This has been so quick, easy, and painless to use on the bikini line area, underarm, and legs and I can already tell it’s working so well. I can’t wait to see at weeks 6-8 weeks after starting! (That’s when I saw in other reviews that people noticed total ceased hair growth, with only 1 maintenance treatment per month then) 🙌🏼🙏🏼 I LOVE this. So worth it! *note- the manual does say “this device is not for Fitzpatrick Skin Type V1 (very dark skin)”

Seems to work. I've been using it on multiple areas of my body and am seeing results. It isn't too painful.

Me ha reducido el vello de forma considerable, esta padre que se mantenga fria por un rato, no esta pesada y que se le pueda mover la cabeza para que se te aocmode de acuerdo a la zona es lo que lo hace comoda. No tarda en estar lista y es facil de usar y lo que esta mas padre es que no duele! :) me gustaron tantos los resultados que la empece a utilizar en la espalda de mi novio y se le ha ido reduciendo los vellitos. es una buena inversion, si la recomiendo mucho.

Estoy sorprendida con los resultados. Lo he utilizado tal como indican el instructivo y a las 5 semanas noté cambios. Empecé depilando solo media pierna para hacer la comparación y la diferencia era muy notoria. El vello tarda más en crecer y ahora hay partes en las que casi no tengo. Estaba dudosa porque soy una mujer con mucho vello pero sí funciona, hay que ser constantes. Hay partes del cuerpo en las que he visto más resultados que en otras, en las axilas es donde me ha tardado más en hacer efecto pero sigo siendo constante. No me arrepiento de comprarlo, vale totalmente la pena.

Viene incompleto tiene el adaptador para la corriente tipo G y no se puede usar así en México. Debería de venir con el enchufe normal o que al menos manden un adaptador. Muy mal. Actualización: estuve en contacto con la empresa quien rápidamente me hizo llegar el cable correcto, hasta el momento llevo 3 semanas de uso y he notado disminución de calibre y velocidad de crecimiento del vello. Agradezco la atención y rápida resolución del problema.
