OGIO RIG 9800 Wheeled Suitcase (Stealth)

I just received my Rig and was so excited to open it up. Box was beat up from shipping, but it did not damage my Rig. Rig was wrapped in plastic that had air in it so provided some cushioning. Got it out of the bag and was very impressed by how well made this Rig feels. Zippers feel strong. Clips are sturdy. Handles feel like they will last a long time. The bottom plastic and hardware stand straight up and feel very stable. It does feel that it can possibly topple over if loaded top heavy. The wheels feel very strong and are not wobbly at all. The back sled is thick and will provide protection for the abuse that is sure to come from the airlines. PLENTY of space. You can fit so much stuff in this thing. Plenty of smaller pockets for things and another compartment to store things that you don't want to get damaged or need to keep separate from everything else. The Rig is BIG. Be ready for how big it is. Don't be surprised if airlines charge more for weight overages when it is packed. One thing I did notice is there are no locks. Some may want to buy a zipper lock or something to keep it that much more secure. Cant wait to plan a trip to see how much abuse this thing can take.

BEST luggage purchase I ever made. I know it's for gear, but I use it for regular luggage because I wanted something that would last since I've moved around internationally a bit and needed somthing sturdy and durable I could pack a lot into. I've looked into regular luggage brands that are just as expensive and they don't hold a candle to this bag. It is my FAVORITE piece of luggage still and I got it about 5 years ago. It is slightly padded on the sides and top for protection of items, has a very stong slide out dandle, and it has enough room to fit me inside fully closed if I fold myself up! And i'm 5'7"! haha. Only thing you need to account for is that it is slightly heavier than your average luggage of this size range, because of the way it is built to be durable for transporting gear. It's till going strong! No tears, not even signs of any big wear with how much I know it has been tossed around on my flights! 10/10 reccomend!

Great bag!!! I purchased my first of this bag before Christmas and just recently returned from my first trip with this item. I love how roomy the inside of this bag is. You can definitely pack lots of gear inside it. I would recommend buying a scale or use your bathroom scale because you can easily go over the 50 pound airline limit. I love how easily & smoothly this bag rolls along. It also stands upright which is a welcome revelation. Unfortunately I haven't used this for a trip involving air travel so I can't comment on how well it holds up to airline abuse but it appears to be built very solid. I love the grab handles for slinging the bag into and out of the car. The retractable handle is at just the right height to make a long stroll with this bag a breeze. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a rolling duffle bag.

We travel a lot. I also take a larger bag given my camera gear in the carry on. This is the mother of larger bags. It’s very well made and bomber in its construction. Everything well thought out. Can degrade interior for clean/soiled clothes. It’s a bit heavy, but that’s due to solid construction. The only suggestion I’d have for the maker is some daisy chains to secure an outside carry item, and loops at center to put an additional wrap-around strap. It has two straps so fine, I just wanted an additional one in the center that could TSA-lock. Other than that this is well thought out and perfectly executed. Highly recommended, and rare for suitcases. Hope this helps.

This item is not getting a five star review, because I have not yet had the opportunity to travel with it. That being said, I can't believe how fantastic this bag is for the price. I am a large man with large clothing and expect that I will be able to pack for well over a week with this bag and still have room. All of the stitching looks to be solid and sturdy and the multiple compartments will allow me to stay organized while packing. I will update this review when I have had the opportunity to travel with this bag, but at this point I would recommend it.

The bag is great, been air traveling every two weeks for 5 years with it without issues but I just got charged $200 for an oversized checked bag by American Airlines. So now I have to buy another bag.

Built to last better than any suitcase I’ve ever owned

È stupenda ma per le mie esigenze è purtroppo esageratamente grande.

Me gusto el gran espacio que tiene en los compartimentos principales y los secundarios, por otro lado facil de manipular por las agarraderas que tiene tanto en la parte frontal como en los laterales, se transporta genial pues las ruedas ayudan con este trabajo, la vdd me encanto.

Nach Lieferschwierigkeiten einer bekannten Paketfirma, hat mir Amazon unbürokratisch und kulant einen Ersatz geschickt. Danke an dieser Stelle für die sehr nette Kundenbetreuung seitens Amazon! Der Koffer ist richtig gut verarbeitet, die Nähte zeigen keinerlei Fehler, das Material wirkt sehr solide und haltbar. Die Konstruktion selbst ist wohl durchdacht! Dieser Koffer bleibt wunderbar stehen, selbst bei "Kopflastiger" beladung! Ein echtes plus! Die Rollen sind gerade richtig groß um Hindernisse wie zum Beispiel Randsteine problemlos zu überwinden. Die Lagerung der Laufräder scheint mir sehr leichtgängig und durch die Metallachsen auch widerstandsfähig zu sein. Kurzum, dieser Koffer wirkt sehr wertig verarbeitet. Ich bin jetzt auf Tournee mit dem Koffer, mal sehen ob er auch dieser Belastung standhält. Update folgt im Mai...

Bien fabriqué. Il me semble être un sac d’une grande qualité. L’avenir sera me le dire. Le seul point que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est qu’on ma livrer un sac noir et gris au lieux de noir et blanc .
