Hario Wine Bottle Style Filter Teapot, Glass, Red

Just started to use this for cold brew loose leaf tea and it's great! Small enough for the fridge and easy to use. Hopefully it'll be just as easy to clean. I do think they're a little pricey but worth it for the ease of use. Really straightforward to put together as well. Would recommend- 2 of my friends have already gotten themselves one

Only had this a week now but used daily and is sturdy. The rubber top fits really tight. The price is great against a well known tea brands own which is 3 times as much.

Works like a charm. Makes a very nice cup of iced tea.

This is a great little item and I used it a lot this summer for cold brew tea. Very refreshing on a warm day, especially with so many lovely flavour teas available now. Very easy to use and clean, with a handy filter inside. Looks modern and smart. Only issue is that this is definitely not leak proof, as I discovered when taking it out on a walk. I was carrying it in my hand but if you were to chuck this in your bag you might have a bit of a soggy situation on your hands. However it is very easy to use and works very well with both loose tea and tea bags. Highly recommended if you are looking for something a little different to drink and cold brewing tea gives it such a lovely flavour.

Premium glass bottle brilliant for cold brewing tea. The tall wine bottle has a silicone top with an inbuilt tea strainer. It feels robust and is easy to clean between uses. I put 5-6 scoops of tea fill it up with water and leave it to brew for 3-6 hours. This type of brewing completely changes the flavour profile and has no bitter taste.

I bought this because I wanted to try making my own iced tea rather than the sugary shop bought versions. The bottle is well made and easy to take apart for cleaning. It's basically for keeping in the fridge as I'm pretty certain it would leak if kept in a bag for work or days out. I transfer mine to my Chilli bottle for work which keeps it lovely and cool. I went for this bottle because it's A: £10 cheaper than what Whittards and Bird and Blend are selling it for. B: It works out much cheaper to use loose tea leaves than iced tea bags, plus with loose tea you can mix your own flavours. The leaves can be used a couple of times if you are cold brewing rather than adding boiling water and then topping up with cold, in which case I'd only use the tea leaves once. In all a well made product which in the long term will save me money from buying shop bought and cutting down on plastic bottles. Only problem now is which teas to buy 🤔

It is exactly the same as the bottle (minus branding) sold in Bird & Blend, but is at least £10 cheaper! Total win!

I’m not very happy with this product. No matter what I do the filter won’t stay in the bottle. I’ve followed the instructions and it will feel firmly fixed but as soon as I put it in the bottle shoulder and on the bottle it falls out and into the bottle. I’m not sure if I have a faulty one or this is just a fault with the bottle. It rather defeats the point of the product if you can’t filter the contents

Wenn die heiße Jahreszeit naht, steigt die Nachfrage nach Erfrischungs-Getränken. Im Handel wird meist völlig überzuckerte oder mit Zuckeraustauschstoffen grausig übersüßte Ware angeboten. Die Lösung des Problems ist ganz einfach: Eistee selber machen. Mit der „Hario Filter Bottle“ ist es ein Leichtes, leckeren Eistee per Cold Brew-Methode, bei der keine Bitterstoffe entstehen, selbst zuzubereiten. Den gewünschten losen Tee (Grün-, Schwarz-, Kräuter- oder Früchtetee; pro Tasse 1 TL) in die Glasflasche geben, mit kaltem Wasser auffüllen und je nach Geschmack für 1 - 4 Stunden in den Kühlschrank stellen (passt in jedes Seitenfach). Fertig. Richtig gut ist, dass man kann den Tee auch längere Zeit ziehen lassen kann (z. B. über Nacht), ohne dass er bitter wird. Heißer Tee lässt sich ebenfalls in der Flasche zubereiten. Wem die Cold Brew-Methode in Bezug auf Bakterien und Keime zu unsicher ist, der kann seinen Tee mit etwas kochendem Wasser übergießen und ihn mindestens 5 Minuten ziehen lassen, bevor kaltes Wasser hinzugegeben wird. Die Glasflasche hat einen Silikondeckel mit integriertem Sieb, aus dem der Tee gegossen wird. Der lose Tee dringt nicht durch das Sieb hindurch. Ein Umfüllen in einen anderen Behälter ist nicht notwendig. Der Verschluss wird aufgesteckt, hält perfekt und ist dicht; ich habe die Flasche einige Male per Fahrrad und Pkw transportiert, wobei sie des Öfteren umkippte, aber niemals auch nur ein einziger Tropfen auslief. Flasche und Zubehör sind im Nu gereinigt, da sich die einzelnen Teile ganz leicht auseinandernehmen lassen. The silicone lip ensures a clean pour; no pesky juice drips on my hands or in my fridge. Plus I think these look great. These two 750s hold plenty of liquid with a small footprint. Very sturdy glass (never dropped, so I can't speak to that level of durability), the silicone is perfectly snug and washes easily. Win win! -- Red lidded 300ml review ↓ -- I bought the red-lidded 300ml cold brew bottle, and I love it. I’m trying to drink more water and the best way for me to actually drink more is to have amazing glassware - silly, I know, but effective for me. This bottle is sturdy, reusable, feels great in my hand, and it makes me want to drink more…yes! TEA - I’m a medium-passionate tea drinker, I have a lot of teas in the pantry, but it’s not a daily drink...that may change. I didn’t buy this for cold-brewing tea oddly enough, but I will happily brew tea at least once a week. Most of my teas are already bagged, so I don’t actually need the filter. However I’m keeping the filter in the lid so it doesn’t get misplaced or accidentally thrown away. The tea filter basket is very easy to remove, and stays in place in the lid - it’s perfect. GLASS & LID - I really bought this for the glass and lid because I love reusable glasses in general, and I appreciate the built-in filter. The glass can handle hot or cold - so that’s an attractive feature, but I mostly use middle-range temperatures that I can get from my faucet (versus boiling from the kettle). I love how the silicone top and lid fit on the glass; the top comes off with a little muscle - neither too loose as to fall off, nor too tight to be difficult. Similarly the lid insert (hollow, it’s like a silicone cork) is perfectly fitted to the lid and also comes off with a little bit of willpower. Zero noticeable seams on the silicone parts (this isn’t important to the function, but it’s important to me because it doesn’t feel or look cheap). Overall, I want more of these bottles! The 300ml is perfect for single users - just over ten ounces, it’s great for folks like me who want ten different drinks in one day (not like I drink that much daily). I am happy to fill it once with water and a lime wedge, then later to cold-brew a nice green tea for a few hours, then again for a calming bedtime drink. TLDR; five stars for function and aesthetics! I first found this bottle in a cute little gift shop in Joshua Tree California bought it and loved it ( by the way, lt is definitely more affordable on Amazon ) the 1st time l tried it. I first just infused bottle water with cucumber and lemon. Not only did it look beautiful on the dinner table it was so delicious and refreshing and Easy to clean. I thought everyone l know needed one and that it would make a perfect gift so l bought more on Amazon. It is also a great last minute hostess gift for that spur of the moment invite. I know it says it is for tea and YES, it is great for tea but it is also fabulous for everything else from infused waters to juices for a little mimosa bar, picnics, cocktails, ect You will love this
