So far, so good. Just got it today and tried it right away. Made my dogs immediately stop barking. The side effect was the side-eye they both gave me. 😂 Took them on our usual walk. We ran into three of our offender dogs. The young pitbull with the guy who just scoops up his puppy, but doesn't really tell him no. Not the pup's fault but a great opportunity to test this out. The pit sat down immediately! The very reactive golden retriever, whose owner literally hugs him to make him stop barking and jumping. The border collies who tear at their fence as we walk by. I discreetly used the little beeper, and all three of those dogs stopped immediately. Seems like the radius is about 20-25 feet. Love the feel in my hand, it's light, easy to hold and has a wrist leash. Perfect training tool and absolute excellence value.

We refuse to use shock collars, so finding an effective humane training alternative for our two mastiffs has been a priority. Think of these devices as an electronic dog whistle. When applied correctly and when the device actually produces effective tones, it is a genuinely powerful training tool. I've tried several ultrasonic trainers over the years and this one outperforms all of them. It works reliably and consistently every time with no "sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't" frustration. It was effective enough that I ended up buying a second unit just to keep one handy in different areas of the house. For large, stubborn breeds, consistency is everything when it comes to training, and this device delivers that. The range is solid, the build feels sturdy, and the rechargeability is a big plus over battery-powered alternatives. My only real gripe is the lack of an on/off switch, which makes it easy to accidentally activate in your pocket or bag. A simple lock or power toggle would make this a truly perfect tool. Minor annoyance, but worth knowing going in. Highly recommend, especially if you've been disappointed by other ultrasonic trainers or are looking for a humane alternative to shock-based correction. I want to be very clear that I had strong doubts when I made this purchase. Very strong. Our family inherited a 3 year old, 85 pound Great Pyrenees female who arrived with close to no training. We reside outside of town, but still have neighbors reasonably close by. A new barking dog might be perceived as a new nuisance. Our previous beloved dog grew old and eventually succumbed to cancer last year. He never barked. The Pyrenees arrived 6 months or so later. She was very sweet, but very unruly, too. She wanted to be near you and when it was time for the kennel or be put inside or kept another place like our shop where she’d be safe and we left her, she’d bark. Plus the breed is known by some to be a watch dog so any odd sound would understandably make her bark in any circumstance. With no training she didn’t know what the word “no” meant. We were at a loss. I had had experience with so-called shock collars on previous dogs, owned by me and others. The memories of those really were negative. The Pyrenees has very thick hair so making good contact with the terminals on a shock collar might have required a very tight fit, too. The dog already had a basic harness for walking, so adding another collar that also had the bad memories for me seemed wrong. So out of desperation and, as I said, with a good deal of doubt I ordered the Ahwhg Anti Barking device. The notion that a device smaller than a TV remote that didn’t have to be affixed to the dog would work seemed like a long shot. Guess what? It worked perfectly. I am over the moon and that’s a place I rarely go. Our method worked as follows: The first time our dog barked at a passing squirrel or some such, from its large pen, I said “No”. Per my earlier remark, she listened but the then the barking started again. The next time, from about 12’ away, I pointed the Ahwhg at her and said “no” and hit ever so briefly the button. Wow, the sound made her twist her head slightly and she stopped. She was not in pain, just had her obsessive barking trance stopped. She regarded me with what might be called new respect, or at least that’s what I led myself to believe. The next time was at night as I placed her in her kennel, petted her, gave her a treat and said goodnight. She barked since, again, she doesn’t want to be left. I went into the house and, when the barking had hit the continual level I opened the door and said “no”. She stopped barking, for a while, then started right up. The next time I said “no” I used the device again, just as briefly, and she stopped immediately and never barked again that night. The Ahwhg has a light so she also saw the light in the darkness which added to the superpower impression. She has not barked again. Sometimes when a neighbor dog comes by she growls and really wants to bark – which she should be entitled to do – but I simply say no and attend to running the neighbor dogs off. I am not yelling at my dog and the invading hound at once. I can’t endorse this product enough. The Ahwhg sits on the shelf at the ready, but we never pick it up. She knows what “no” means and, since she’s a smart dog, I feel that she understands that her learned behavior has created a much more pleasant household. There may be professional dog trainers that will offer better advice on training a dog, but that’s my story with the Ahwhg. I have a new, much better relationship with our dog. She has functionally been transformed into a great dog who loves to live with her now not-so-new family.

I liked that is hand held making easy to use. I liked once you push the ultrasonic bark control device the dog stop barking and there behaviors were much better. The dog was more responsive to my commands when using the ultrasonic bark control device. The sound alone makes easy to stop the dog behavior in his/her track makes them behave in a better way. The ultrasonic bark control makes it easy for dogs to follow commands and obey the commands you give them. I am very pleased with the ultrasonic bark control device. There so many things to love about the ultrasonic bark control device it's helps dog obey commands and corrects the bad behaviors they may have and teaching the dog to listen and obey commands. This device is highly recommended for anyone trying stop their dog from continuous barking. The dog responds in a positive way and is easy able to follow commands of the owner. This device can be used when walking the dog or while traveling and can be used daily to help stop barking or other behaviors your pet might be dealing with. I found the ultrasonic bark control device very good for all dogs but for specially for very small dogs because the device bark control collar were hard to fit on dogs that are the size of Yorkie. For example I had order two bark collars but couldn't find the right fit and when I found the ultrasonic bark control I was pleased because worked as well as the bark collars. Worked okay at times where dog was caught off guard, only worked the first second so maybe not the best for stubborn barkers.

This was amazing. Only used it twice. Our standard poodle is a great well behaved dog. However, barks at anything while in the car. It would scare me even when I knew it was coming. Now, he just looks around while we all enjoy the ride. I have it in the car but have not used it anymore. I still want him to bark at home to let me know of strangers and he does. Just not in the car.

We live next to a block of units and our dog would bark when anyone was outside. We tried lots of training but nothing worked. In the end we’ve had to keep her in the house any time we went out to prevent her from causing a nuisance. I’ve only had to press the alarm 3 times in the first few days and she no longer barks. I was amazed it worked so quickly. One point I’d make is that she now appears to associate being outside with the alarm so is reluctant to spend time outside. We’re now working on playing with her in the yard to ensure she knows it’s a safe place for her. Well worth the purchase.

We tried a No bark collar but it agitated our dog and he kept trying to shake it off. This little device works 100% of the time. We tell our dog “quiet” as soon as we use it then reward him with lots of praise. Now, most of the time, just saying the word “quiet” stops him in his tracks. We’ve only been using it a couple of days and I think he will be broken of the barking habit soon. I would recommend this device to anyone trying to break their dog of barking or any other bad habits.
