I am thinking this could good for cleaning mud from football boots.** A: The device holds enough soap but I doubt the brush is sufficiently rugged to clean boots. In my opinion you would better off with a stiffer brush. **Q: Does it come with the holder? or is it the brush alone?** A: It does come with the holder...But this one doesn't have the typical Oxo quality...The soap dispenser part of the brush snapped off in couple of months.
