I have a dishwasher that has leaked. The hose that leaks is no longer manufactured, and is not available anywhere. I fashioned a replacement out of different material that I hope works. But I also put a drain beneath the dishwasher so if it (or a replacement) ever leaks, the water will have a safe place to escape. I used this material around the perimeter of the dishwasher enclosure so water could not seep into the wall, or under the cabinets or flooring (which would cause immense damage). I was able to easily measure and precisely cut & trim this material with a sharp box cutter type knife. It was flexible enough to bend where one of the sides had an angle to it. It stuck to water-proofed hardwood floor nicely. All in all, I was impressed with the material and it was perfect for the job I needed. I can't speak to how well it will prevent water flow, but I see no reason it would not. It worked on small scale tests.

This worked perfectly for by our shower door! The threshold was pooling water that would leak onto the floor. This was very easy to fit to the shower and install. The adhesive seems very strong, although we did also apply some clear caulk along all sides to sure up the water barrier. It’s been working great for months now!

So far so good. I added a bead of clear silicone on both sides based on recs from other reviews and it still looks like new a month later. I wish it was just a little taller bc I needed it for a gap between the sliding glass door and top of the tub. But it helps a lot.

Guess what happens when you take the pressure regulator out of a shower head... You get an unbelievable shower yes, but that water that blasts off you has to go somewhere. In my case, it blasted right past the shower curtain, onto the rim of the tub, then onto the floor - leaving a huge puddle. I ran this strip along the tub and no more puddle! Sticks to the tub well - I cleaned the tub with isopropyl alcohol first to ensure it stuck. My tub is oval shaped and this was flexible enough to follow the curve - almost looks OEM. Cleans easily with the rest of my tub too.

The most common drawbacks to items of this design was its lack of adhesion. Perhaps appropriate but easily overcome with prudent preparation & a bit of ingenuity. I was sure to scrub clean the surface to be applied to with a modest cleaning solution such as glass cleaner or the Green stuff. After allowing it to completely dry I then applied a line of silicone glue to which this strip was then carefully/ smoothly applied. Some areas may still resist remaining flush with the surface ( Thanks to its prolonged pre-sale storage in a circular curved state) So to counter this I just positioned something flat & weighty against those areas while it dried for a couple of hours. I realize that some buyers don't expect or want to do those extra steps but the result is worthwhile. Lastly I feel that it's overpriced for the length / amount purchased. Nevertheless I am pleased with this purchase.

The threshold came off after 2 days! The adhesive strip is not near strong enough. The directions recommend enforcing the adhesive strip with waterproof silicone glue which is not included. I don't happen to have any of that in my house and I don't think you should have to go buy a product in order to make this one work!

This is a must have for anyone who has a frameless shower door and knows very well that the gap at the bottom let's water through. This solved the issue completely. Initially the people who installed the door put a small metal "dam" across which did nothing, it peeled off on its own after a year and had stained the area it was ilon as seen in the picture. The item we got from Amazon was so much cheaper, incredibly easy to cut and install. It fits the area perfectly and did an amazing job preventing water from leaking under the door. Very sturdy and really easy to clean . Definitely recommend it.

It works well the quality is decent and by that I mean I bought it for my shower door to stop water from seeping out, which it worked. however, after a while usage the 3M starts to lose its stickiness but don’t look at it as 1 time solution. Ohhh and they give you a long piece so you can cut and fit to your desired length.

Poor Quality Just waste of money

Not a good product as only able to stick a small portion of it rest didn’t stick to tile and came off

Wrost and pathetic product, no adhesive and the remaining adhisve will remove with in 2 days...better save your 500 Rs rather than purchasing this product or search other alternative
