Great, True Rubbermaid Construction
read a negative review about "smelly plastic", and more than one review complaining about difficulty with removal of the product label. I must say that as someone who has dealt with adhesive adhering to recyclable pharmaceutical bottles, I was pleasantly surprised at the minimal amount of adhesive that I easily removed with...wait for it... RUBBING alcohol! Yes, folks... RUBBING is included in the name of this antiseptic, a poisonous substance that everyone should have in their first aid supplies! I don't want to use anything else to remove residue, as alcohol is absolutely safe on the skin...so safe, it is used on broken skin! 😆 And as far as the claim of, "smelly plastic "? I didn't think this container had much of an odor, at all! 🤔🧐 The product itself is a high quality, thick plastic, reminiscent of other high quality Rubbermaid containers, apart from some of their portable food containers. It will work excellent to house the organic granola for which I bought it.

Hard to remove sticker
The container is nice. Getting the sticker off the side-not so much. After using WD-40 and twenty minutes of my time-success. But now my brand new container has scratches on the side from my fingernails

Excellent Protection and Storage
This excellent container can hold a pound of your favorite cereal. It's lid is tight and pour spout stays closed. It can be a bit difficult at times to open the pour spout cover without the entire lid coming off, but that's no big deal for me. As with all containers, they accumulate some moisture. To combat this use 2-3 small food grade packets to absorb moisture. If you're storing cereal, rice or similar food items for extended amounts of time use small food grade oxygen absorbing packets as well. This way the food stuffs will last longer and the container will keep the bugs out.

Good for cereal
Love these for fitting bags of family size cereal. I also feel like the spout is designed in a way that is easier for my kids to control so they don’t overfill/spill.

I know most use it for cereal, but I also use it to travel. I put my pups dog food in it and its so nice to use when we are on the go
