This is a great product does everything that you want to do I am playing one of my old vinyls on it now which has great sound not tried recording anything yet but that is something that I shall be trying at a later date as I do really like the idea of being able to put my old vinyls on to MP3 and play them on my iPod.CD player works really well I've got this in red which is a nice shade of red speakers are good and is loud enough for what I want and for the room that I have it in and yes I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to for a retro record Player to play their old records on and well done Amazon for having this at the best price I have managed to save £50 compared to other places that are selling it for £140-£150 Great product

This gets four stars based on the fact that it was bought for an 80 years of age mother who wanted to play her old LPs again. HiFi is not a consideration in this demographic just clear and loud sound, convenience, ease of use and the ability to listen to radio and play CDs as a bonus. This item scores highly on all these criteria. What is surprising is the radio quality - without an obvious aerial the sound from FM is outstanding. It looks impressive even if handling and picking it up betrays its plastic construction which in any case doesn't mean it's not sturdy. It has a modest footprint so fits comfortably in confined areas. The only missing feature for me and my mother is pre-sets for the radio. For the above use - recommended.

I absolutely love this - looks so smart and stylish. Have lots of vinly 45's and 78's that had long since been dark-holed. It was so good to be able to dig them out and play them again. Very well made, super rich colour with chrome finish accents. Easy to use instruction leaflet - knobs and buttons are quite solid, and theCD tray glides open and closes nicely. Although it is plastic, it does have a really good finish. What I would mention is that if you are positioning it against a wall, you will need to pull it forward a bit to place a 78rpm lng playing record on - the record does extend beyond the back of the player when on the turntable (no big deal!!) It has a really good volume, and a good tone. Comes with a bass boost button for those of us that prefer a bit more depth to the sound. It also comes with a remote control,(minus battery) which I have not used yet, but will be very useful. If considering this player, do buy it from here because we initially saw it on display in a local shop window at about £40 more than the price of this. I almost always check whether things I see are available on Amazon before I buy them. It arrived promptly, and was extremely well packaged (box within a box). Over the moon with this..............looks so retro, which is what I love.

This is exactly what I wanted, really pleased with the overall item. Sound was a little tinny on a couple of songs but I've forgotten what actual records sounded like anyway and I don't usually listen to them too loud. The sound on the CD was great and the radio as well once it found the station, just have to play around to get the aerial in the right place as with all radios. The item was actually sent to me by Amazon with the remote etc missing! Amazon wanted me to send the whole thing back but I managed to get in touch with the manufacturer who were really helpful and posted the missing bits direct to me.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friendBest described as cheap and cheerful. With a little more though (and little or no additional cost) this product could have been MUCH better. The finish is reasonably visually appealing. However, lift the turntable lid and experience the disappointment as its thin, flimsy plastic structure twists in the hand exuding the cheap construction. Those old enough to remember the "Dansette" radiogram and similar original versions of this radio/turntable combination will recall a vinyl-covered wood or bakelite construction. Sturdy but heavy and, of course in those pre-stere days, just one speaker. but with a good tone. The speakers are small and have little audio depth. With no bass or tone control expect the tone of your precious vinyl or CD's to sound disappointingly thin, "toppy" and "tinny". Also, the absence of stereo phono out sockets mean that you cannot output via an external amp or speakers to improve the sound quality or split the stereo in the room. The recording particularly, phono (vinyl) to MP3 (via USB or SD) is crude but works. Overall, in my opinion, a £50 to £60 price tag would be more realistic in terms of value for money. It looks ok as a piece of retro furniture but don't expect too much from it other than the most basic audio-output.

Have loved playing my old lps been transported back to the 70's. The needle doesn't return at the end of a record you have to manually lift it( well there is a lever you use). The is a noise from the motor but you can't hear it when a record is playing. Great that I can plug in my iphone and play my music through the speakers. For the price excellent value. My 2 year old granddaughter loved the shiny bits and she was fascinated . The radio is ok although you can't preset stations but so what? All in all love it!

My player arrived early and I was delighted with it's looks. I wanted a turntable for my vinyl and I was impressed with the quality of sound. Unfortunately, the CD tray would not function so I contacted the seller who responded promptly. He/she was very helpful and arranged for a courrier to pick up my player and sent me a replacement which arrived today. It is all operational and I am very pleased. I have yet to work out how to used the other functions available to me but, I am sure, I will be well satisfied.

Je suis très mode vintage et j'ai donc sauté le pas pour acheter une platine. Elle est vraiment belle et a un son vraiment bien pour le prix.

Great product. Works on 220v. Sound is good and clear. I will connect it with my external speakers. Looks really good good.
