Stunning stuff. Not the nicest to take but it means you can go out for a meal in the evening and not have indigestion all night. This is now I am past 50 of course as now I can't eat after 6pm hey ho.

When I started taking the gel I thought it was ok however a bit grainy but not too bad. I was willing to try anything as I has been diagnosed with IBS and had constant pain at different levels and a gnawing pain on a constant basis to the right of my belly button. I took the gel for 3days and then I felt as if my bowels were rumbling and gurgling all the time and I was back and forward to the toilet all day and was passing the gel, its as if it was sweeping through me, and I had pain but it was bearable. I felt my intestines had did a work out and it felt as everything had stretched. So I said I will never take that stuff again and was going to throw the bottle in the bin. However about 2days later everything had settled down and I went back to normal, but , had expected to have the pain that I normally suffered before taking the gel, but , to my surprize I felt quite a bit better and I couldn't believe it. I now have less pain that I had before, just the odd twinge at times and still have to watch what I am eating. It was as if the gel had cleaned out the tubes although there was a bit of pain while it was going on. I am glad I used it and glad I didn't throw out the bottle.

Firstly, I should qualify my review by stating that I have suffered from diagnosed IBS for 6 years. 6 years of trying various diets and remedies and with little or no relief. Now then, it is also important to highlight that all IBS cases are different, and what might work as a remedy for one person, will only make someone else feel worse or, at best, no different. Having said all that, I have had very good results from using this product (currently on day 4) and my severe condition has been greatly improved. I have suffered severe and acute IBS-D with very sharp and unpleasant stomach pains, sudden and desperate need for the toilet and all the accompanying misery that goes with that, for several years. In just four days my symptoms have rapidly declined. I am comfortable after eating, I have had only minimal stomach discomfort and there has (so far) been no 'emergencies'. I have found that two doses per day are probably best for me as I was in danger of developing IBS-C instead! I would certainly recommended anyone with IBS-D to give this gel a try. It's a first class product, if a little pricey, and has improved my condition immensely. I purchased it when I had to be off my PPI medication. It does bring some relief, but is not as powerful. Worth trying though as PPI has a lot of side effects, especially if used for prolonged periods of time (ie causing magnesium deficiency). I would stay, if you stick to the correct diet, avoid sugary snacks and stuff, which aggravate your heartburn symptoms, this gel should be sufficiently soothing.

I suffered with severe stomach problems for about 5 years. I had very little that I could eat without leaving me bloated and in pain. My life was crap. Nothing worked and I tried everything on the market and from GP. I came across this by sheer chance. I read the reviews and even though they were good I didn’t hold out much hope as nothing had even come close to working for me. It taste revolting , like lumpy wet cardboard. It took about 3 days to work but I’ve not looked back since. I’m not exaggerating when I say it changed my life. I’m now back to how I used to be. I still keep a eye on what I eat but my stomach problems are 90% better. It’s quite expensive but in my opinion you can’t put a price on a pain free life so it’s worth every penny. I’m on my 4th bottle now. I got a couple from supermarket but it’s cheaper on amazon. If your suffering I really do advise giving this a go. It really helped me.

I rarely write a review for Amazon products as I don’t have the time. However I thought Silicolgel was a product I want to share with others. I have always suffered with a delicate digestive system all my life but as I’ve got older it’s got much worse particularly in the last 3 years. For the about 2 months now I’ve had almost constant nasty lower abdominal pains, pressure and bloating . I’ve had blood tests and poo tests and all come back clear. The thought of carrying on with this pain plus the frequent visits to the loo is not a nice thought when I just want to enjoy my retirement. Over the years I have tried eliminating all kinds of foods and drinks from my diet but nothing seemed to work. I have only just started taking Silicolgel but already my digestive system feels less irritated and painful. To have some relief feels uplifting. I found taking three lots per day difficult to fit in so I will carry on with twice a day. I found mixing it with water and drinking it quickly works best for me. So far so good with this product - will have to wait and see.
