I tested this product from a coworker after I put on "my face for the day" and loved it. I immediately placed my order and couldn't wait to try it on a fresh face. Long story short it didn't work quite as well as I'd thought. The highlighter does absolutely nothing at all for me... I believe since I'm many shades lighter than my coworker it blends in to my skin and highlights hers. The blush is pretty dark but still a very beautiful color and the contour works but I could get away with a few shades lighter. I believe it looked nice on me because I was already done and it just created those wonderful contours but in order to recreate that level of a look on a daily basis is way too much makeup for me. I'm looking for a more natural contoured look and need a better highlighter for sure... If you're into the over the top deep contours and have a more honey complexion this is the blush/contour kit for you but you may need a better highlighter.. A skin tone darker than a MAC NW43 would probably work better on.

Amazing pigment quality. The palate is too dark for medium tan skin.
I only use one color since the bronzer and the hightlighter show up reddish on my skin. I may try the smashbox for lighter shades, once this one is used up. It does have really amazing pigment to it, and can stay on for hours.

The blush in this kit is beautiful! I don't really care for the highlighter or contour color on my dark skin.
