Okay, so I reviewed this item before buying & saw that the main issue was it slipped down the leg after using but I gave it a try regardless as i was in such discomfort. Why you ask - well I'm a postie & my body aches in places you would never believe. One of these places was my thigh. I must of strained the muscle during a round & I was in agony. I initially thought it was my hip deteriorating however (luckily) it's a thigh strain. I've had this 3 days now & my leg is so much better. It still aches but these injuries take ages to heal if you rest & I don't have that luxury. The support does slip but that's during an 8 hour delivery walking, driving. £20 well spent.

It is at least 80% effective and it takes a few weeks to see any positive results. The only downside is that it does not stay firmly in place but rather slides down your leg no matter how much tightness is applied. The best way to use it is when you are sitting down at the computer, watching TV or reading for a prolonged period. It is nevertheless recommended.

Short version: this is a very effective and good quality product that's helped me to play football after recurring hamstring strains. Here's the longer version in case it's of use to anyone... I recently started playing football again and my left hamstring hasn't been enjoying it too much. For two months I kept straining/pulling it. I'd wait until it stopped hurting (usually 1-2 weeks), stretch it to death and then still strain it again during a match, hobble off and end up limping for a week. I've been wearing this for the last two matches now and the difference has been huge. I've had no further injuries so far (I haven't gone two matches without it pulling since the summer), no pain, tightness or discomfort during the match, and it keeps my leg nice and warm. The box shows you how to attach it to your thigh. I've read a few complaints about it slipping but I haven't had that happen to me at all, which can only mean some people haven't put it on tight enough. My tip would be to attach it as tight as you can whilst sitting down at first so you can ensure it's covering the muscles, and then detach one Velcro strip at a time and pull them as tight as you can within reason. It's worked for me.

Well if you are suffering from sciatica or bruised muscles then this elasticated bandage is ideal. It can be tightened or loosened and then secured by the 2 separate velcro straps. Enables me to do 8 mile hikes and sleep at night. As others have mentioned it does tend to slip down after an hour or so, so be prepared to reposition. Alternatively one could probably devise additional holding vertically using independant velcro straps and a waist band. If you want to go the full monty like I have then purchase in addition a litre bottle of Cytola Arnica gel and once fully absorbed and dry a dual channel Auvon tens machine complete with pads followed by the bandage. This is a fairly soft and flexible support with the fatal flaw of easily slipping down when in use. It is fully adjustable and pretty comfortable to wear. If you can get it to stay up (which would involve using tape, in my opinion) it keeps the muscles warm and provides some support. When I last used mine, it reached my ankle in only a few minutes and I've given up on it. Perhaps it would be better on a bigger thigh, though mine is average to slightly large for a woman.

If you intend on sitting rock still perfect. If you intend to move at all it will be down on your in calve in seconds. Sorry but waste of my money.

Good quality and gives firm support but can come loose sometimes

Good for stabilising a thigh injury. Comfortable product that is not too bulky when worn under sports leggings. Need to make sure positioned as high up on leg as comfortably possible otherwise slips down leg during activity. Has helped to support my injury.

The product appeared okay out of the box however upon first use one of the Velcro tabs that holds the support on failed and tore along the weak stitching rendering the product useless. Waste of time and more importantly money.

You can really tighten these down on your hamstring. I wear compression shorts over them. And then softball pants over all that. They stay in place. Very good quality. When I went bowling, I used these hamstring wraps. Without compression shorts. They didn't stay in place. I'll try compression shorts next time as to keep them in place. I use these hamstring wraps for quite some time. When playing softball. They work very well in conjunction with compression shorts.

This product was just what I needed. I had lympnode damage and it helped support my thigh area. Helped keep area supported. There was a little slippage but usually do to me not adjusting tight enough. Very soft. Not irritating. Leg very swollen but had plenty of room for adjusting the size. Would highly recommend especially for the price.
