When you apply it you will instantly notice that the heat from the sun doesn't warm your skin as much. When you feel that burning sensation coming back you need to reapply the cream. It will be different for everyone and will be according to how hot the sun is on each occasion. For me, (I burn in about 3 minutes!) it usually last about an hour and a half. Factor 30 means it will protect you for 30 times longer than you would last without it. Happy sunbathing. **Q: What happened to 5 star UVA rating only 3 star now?** A: It still gets 5 stars from me. It's an excellent and effective product which does not adversely effect even sensitive skin. It's only downside is that it takes more of rubbing in than most products. **Q: Does this stain clothing?** A: I noticed yellowish stains at the edges of my white clothing and they didn't wash out fully. It's a few years since I bought this suncream - the packaging did warn about staining at that time and it's put me off a little. Stains weren't so noticeable on coloured clothing. Otherwise, I found the suncream great. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS!! *by K***R on 28 June 2021* Being half greek I was the one who got great tans on holiday no skin issues whatsoever then in my 40's suddenly developed what I was initially told was prickly heat but after a few years and a hospital visit diagnosed Polymorphic Light Eruption.....my arms mainly and sometimes my chest would ve ok for 2 days in the sun but by day 3 I would get maybe 6 spots on each arm that itched like mad the next day would be about 30 until the arms were covered in blister type spots and you would not believe hiw itchy it was, I'd be in tears and tried everything, anti histamines,steroids, different sun lotions even one from America costing £60 and nothing worked I was so fed up....I was even pulled out of the check in line at Palma airport to ask if it was infectious and people moving away from me. .then a few weeks ago got it again at home gardening and a friend said the doctors can prescribe this for PLE so I just ordered from here and have been able to sit in the sun with not one spot or itch........it will make a huge difference to my life, you only need a tiny bit to apply and if you rub in properly its not that white although i didnt care if it was!! Uvistat is the only sun cream I have found that actually works. You can feel it block the heat instantly, and you know when it stops working because you immediately feel your skin get very hot - that is when to reapply the cream. Before this became available I couldn't go out in the sun. It changes your life! Any factor number of Uvistat works equally well - you just have to reapply sooner with a lower number. I have never had sunburn since I started using it.
