Attach securely
I bought these to sand down some large wooden garage doors, together with 80 grit pads from the same manufacturer. When I ordered them I was concerned at how well they would be retained by the sanding pad, and how long they would last: neither were problems. Firstly, when you buy cheap pads you take the risk that they're not going to attach well to the velcro - the unbranded pads tend to have thinner backing. I have Makita sander and I have to say there was no slipping whatsoever - in fact I'd go as far to say I wouldn't mind if the pads were a little easier to remove after use! The velcro held extremely well. The longevity was okay. The 80 grit pads got gummed up with paint very quickly and I went through a lot of them, but that would be the case for any pad and isn't reflective of the quality. The 120 grit I used once the bulk of the paint was removed and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they lasted. Clearly you're not going to expect quite the lifespan of a branded pad, but then again the difference in price is so significant that the couple of seconds it takes to swap the pads a few extra times is well worth it. I would definitely buy these again, having tested them.

Excellent value
Have been using for extensive work on a couple of boats and these perform just as well as much more expensive leading brands I was using in a professional classroom

This is what you are looking for.
Seeing as you have got this far, just press buy! Durable and thus cost-effective, I haven’t used anything better from Amazon this year (Aug 2020).

Cheap
Obviously far cheaper than the branded versions but they don’t stick to the sander as well as the proper ones do. Some wouldn’t stick at all.

Does exactly what you need - you do tend to use a few more
Bought a couple of packs of these to re do the kitchen work tops. They were very thick in the oil that was on there before and I had to remove it all. Alongside the mouse pads, I went through 150 but that is not surprising given that it is a large worktop and there was a lot of come off. Compared to other brands, these are extremely good value. I did use some bosch pads too but I wouldn't say that the extra wear I got out of them is worth paying the premium. If you have a large job to do, these will do a fine job.
