PDP Rematch Wired Gaming Controller: 1-Up Mushroom, Nintendo Switch 2, Lite

The PDP Rematch Wired Gaming Controller is a great option for gamers looking for an affordable and reliable controller. It feels comfortable in the hands, the buttons are responsive, and the wired connection provides a stable gaming experience without worrying about battery life. I also like its lightweight design and easy setup. The controller works well for everyday gaming and offers good value for the price. Overall, it is a solid choice for casual and regular gamers.

I play smash bros competitively and I kid you not I genuinely bought a used one of these PDP REMATCH's for 12$, and I find this controller more comfortable to use then the switch pro controller. No stick flick, no misinputs, back paddles are nice, it also looks very nice. The only thing I'd mention is that if you want to disable the back paddles (or bind it to something different) it has to be rebind-ed every time you turn the system on.

I wanted a wired controller that was directly wired to the controller and not a plug like PowerA. In Esports I've been having issues with controller delay in my Bluetooth controllers, so I decided to buy a wired controller. I love this controller. It is super comfortable and works great. There's no delay at all on my switch and I didn't have to spend tons of money on it. I even use it on my pc occasionally. The only thing I don't like is you can't completely unmap the back buttons. I hate using the back buttons on controllers cause I accidentally press them when I don't mean to so I like unmapping them. With this controller I have to unmap them every single time I plug it in. It's not a big issue I've just gotten used to not gripping this controller so hard so I don't accidentally press them.

Awesome for a wired controller, quality build, no stick drift, buttons are not too hard or squishy. I like the optional reprogrammable paddles. I already own several of the earlier face-off series. My only complaint is that removing the swappable faceplate was very difficult. I also wish they had rumble and the ability to wake the Switch console from sleep, but for the price a solid controller option.

Pros: Works with headsets for use in game chat Lightweight design but feels hefty enough to be a cousin to an Xbox controller Buttons are sleek Very easy to use Cons: Isn’t glow in the dark as advertised D-Pad doesn’t control volume(must adjust volume on the top of console itself) Overall a great product for use with the Switch! No added unnecessary cables or plug ins required for use in game chat. I’m using a wired headset and it works fabulous. The cons aren’t an absolute deal breaker for me. The controller works good and that matters.

+feels sturdy +low price +programmable back buttons +headphone jack +thumb sticks can be swapped out (separate purchases) -volume max is lower than I’d like -back buttons have to be turned off every time you boot up the Switch from sleep mode -the home button is lit up and never turns off which can be annoying at times -the placement of the + and Home buttons are inconvenient. Too close to some other buttons and takes a little getting used to. -no vibration Overall, I’m enjoying this controller so far, especially for the price. I got it to play with a headset on at night and it gets that job done, although the volume isn’t as loud as I want it to be. This can be fixed by raising the volume in some games but not all. I’d recommend it for that purpose if you want a cheap option.

Good controller

Pdp used to be my go to, specifically the first set of the face-off line but after using this for a while it just does not hold up compared to how they used to
