Can hardly wait to use this on my next trip to the beach. I was able to install it by myself but had to use an adjustable height stool to prop up one side as I bolted the other side. Just a little awkward and slightly challenging for an older person as me with arthritis everywhere. Time and patience. Very sturdy and a good value. Nice addition to my Jeep Wrangler. So far, no rattles. The ends are already padded. I have placed some things on the rack and used bungee straps to hold them in place. Works fine.

Very solid and fits tight. Feels heavier than I imagined even though the description has the weight listed, but that makes it strong and ruable. Once it is in it is very easy to use with the included bungee netting large enough to handle a significant amount of gear. In my case, I am not loading it that high because a) I don't need to 99% of the time and b) because I like to be able to see over it with my rearview mirror. The mounting height is perfect IMO because it lines up with the top of the rear seat, so you have a good amount of space above it and below. Installing takes a bit of effort by one person so I suggest getting help if possible. If on your own find a cardboard box or something like that to help hold it up to make attaching it to the "legs" easier. The instructions are pretty good but it doesn't tell you that with the legs loose you have to hold them up to get the basket in between the two. It fits tight but it fits well. Only downsides from my point of view: 1. if you want to remove the top from your Wrangler you will have to remove this cargo basket. 2. The legs would be much handier if they had a few slots in them so you could attach a molle bag or other light weight accessory. I have a bag for my recovery boards, which fit perfectly in this basket with room to spare for other small items. I plan to carry my air hose in there also. Temporarily I strapped my first aide kit to the bottom of the leg on one side and my air up/down bag under the other. I plan to find a way to attach them on top of those legs eventually. Overall I am very happy with this setup. A little heavy but the other brands that compete and are lighter are nearly triple the cost and for that I don't think they are worth the money. This works great, on and off road without any rattle or banging so for me...happy I bought it.

This is a high quality shelf and allows you to store a lot more gear in the Jeep. I leave some recovery gear on the self and strap it down with my own bungees and ratchet straps. Installation can be tricky if you are doing it solo like I did. Get everything in place and leave nuts/bolts loose until the end. Use whatever you have laying around so that you can prop up the shelf while you work on one side. I used a combination of a crate and a heavy duty cardboard box to hold the shelf off while I aligned everything in place. Personally, I used my own torx and hex bits with a power tool on the low torque setting to install. Made it go by a lot quicker. Still give yourself about 30-45 minutes to install. Once you tighten everything up, it is extremely stable, no rattles and I can tell it's high quality. Being carbon steel, will see if it ever rusts but don't expect it with this being inside.

Packaged extremely well, solid hardware, easy install. Doesn't shake at all once in place. Super cool! The net fits perfectly as well

My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I was debating between a Moonshade, a 12V fridge, a tailgate table and this interior storage shelf. We talked and agreed that of all the things I wanted for the Jeep, this rack would get the most use. It's easy to assemble, but I only gave 4 stars because the instructions said there was a left and right side to the support arms, but there was no label. I figured it out right away, but I'd rather they didn't indicate a right and left side if they didn't label it. Installation was a breeze and it took less than 10 minutes. I used a beach umbrella that I store crosswise in the back of the Jeep to support the upper tray while I installed the bolts, washers and nuts. I only hand tightened to allow for adjustment which helped A LOT! After getting everything lined up and assembled, I went back and it tightened everything. I put almost half of my gear I normally hold in the cargo area on this shelf (I'm a prepper) and had more than enough room for my cooler, backpack, chairs and other gear. When I go shopping, I only have to remove my cooler and then I basically have the entire cargo area open. Mind you, the area underneath the upper tray is dark, so I installed two magnetic flood lights, but I'll probably install some puck lights or rig something so that an LED light turns on with the upper cargo light. Of course, rear visibility will be obscured, but that's to be expected. However, its a small price to pay for the additional storage. I also like that I can use it with the top off and I can store my cooler on it and my kids can reach behind and get a cold drink. My fire extinguisher still fits on the sport bar and the support arms can also be used to support small gun cases (or at least I think it will and I'll give it a try). The upper tray also holds a hard, long gun case easily and 4 ammo cans. Sure, there are cheaper models out there, but this one had some really good reviews and from my experience, I just added another one.

Easier install with two people but possible by yourself if you just prop the flat surface to the correct height. No tools included which is fine, why add more to my Allen wrench collection. I gave it five stars because it adds so much more fictionality to my cargo space and it looks great. Really great that it comes with a cargo net and it worked great with straps as well. The product is very sturdy as well. I do wish it was an inch or two shorter so it could double as theft protection when you have the top off, it would be tough to take out large items anyway. I never have my jeep hard top on lol!

This is well made. Installation was straightforward, I was able to do it myself. It is a heavy gauge, quite sturdy. I have already used it for both camping trip gear and beach gear. It creates a lot more options for packing things without crushing what is on the bottom. The many tie down points make it easy to keep things secure. I had a hard braking incident when some deer decided to jump in the road, and everything stayed put, just be sure everything is tightened down well.

Perfect fit in my 2025 Wrangler. Very sturdy and adds extra storage control while leaving enough room underneath for longer items. I use the shelve to carry off road recovery gear. The supplied net is not useful as it does not attach well to the shelf.

I really love this rack as it is very well built, sturdy and perfectly fitting my Wrangler. It is a game changer in the way you can use the trunk area. Really recommended!
