Can hardly wait to use this on my next trip to the beach. I was able to install it by myself but had to use an adjustable height stool to prop up one side as I bolted the other side. Just a little awkward and slightly challenging for an older person as me with arthritis everywhere. Time and patience. Very sturdy and a good value. Nice addition to my Jeep Wrangler. So far, no rattles. The ends are already padded. I have placed some things on the rack and used bungee straps to hold them in place. Works fine.

Easier install with two people but possible by yourself if you just prop the flat surface to the correct height. No tools included which is fine, why add more to my Allen wrench collection. I gave it five stars because it adds so much more fictionality to my cargo space and it looks great. Really great that it comes with a cargo net and it worked great with straps as well. The product is very sturdy as well. I do wish it was an inch or two shorter so it could double as theft protection when you have the top off, it would be tough to take out large items anyway. I never have my jeep hard top on lol!

Packaged extremely well, solid hardware, easy install. Doesn't shake at all once in place. Super cool! The net fits perfectly as well

Fit was a bit off. It digs into the top a little and I had to file the edges of the brackets in the rear corners. It does not raddle and is very sturdy. The grip tape that came with it came off the first time something slide on the shelf. I would suggest using some other material to prevent sliding instead of what comes in the box. It's a good value if you are willing to do a little DIY modification

This is well made. Installation was straightforward, I was able to do it myself. It is a heavy gauge, quite sturdy. I have already used it for both camping trip gear and beach gear. It creates a lot more options for packing things without crushing what is on the bottom. The many tie down points make it easy to keep things secure. I had a hard braking incident when some deer decided to jump in the road, and everything stayed put, just be sure everything is tightened down well.

This is a high quality shelf and allows you to store a lot more gear in the Jeep. I leave some recovery gear on the self and strap it down with my own bungees and ratchet straps. Installation can be tricky if you are doing it solo like I did. Get everything in place and leave nuts/bolts loose until the end. Use whatever you have laying around so that you can prop up the shelf while you work on one side. I used a combination of a crate and a heavy duty cardboard box to hold the shelf off while I aligned everything in place. Personally, I used my own torx and hex bits with a power tool on the low torque setting to install. Made it go by a lot quicker. Still give yourself about 30-45 minutes to install. Once you tighten everything up, it is extremely stable, no rattles and I can tell it's high quality. Being carbon steel, will see if it ever rusts but don't expect it with this being inside.

As what others have said, this is solid and heavy duty. The installation was easy, but before I got to work, I also watched a couple installation videos on YouTube. Those helped and one of the lessons I learned was to get longer mounting bolts ahead of time. That was crucial. I am pleased with the quality of the build, the height placement of the shelf is perfect and I couldn't be happier with this product. It's absolutely worth the money.

I really love this rack as it is very well built, sturdy and perfectly fitting my Wrangler. It is a game changer in the way you can use the trunk area. Really recommended!
