This gilet being hi-vis yellow with reflective elements does the job of making me more visible in the dimmer weather, darker mornings and evenings. It’s versatile in that it can be worn over a t-shirt or a thicker hoodie, or over a layering system, depending on the ambient temperature.With the mesh sections and generous arm openings, I don’t find it traps body heat as a jacket would, and when zipped up to the collar, it fits close to the body which makes it really comfortable for running. It’s very lightweight too.It’s a good price - £21 or so - what price do you put on extra safety?
