This thing is a beast!!! I have an 800 Gal spa and it almost emptied it in 12 mins. I have to say almost because it doesn't work when the water is below 2 inches, it auto shuts at that point. I have to use my wet/dry vac to get rid of the rest of the water. My old one used to take over 4 hours to empty 800 Gals. Review: Awesome water pump. At first we used a 3/4” garden hose and connected it to sprinklers in our pastures. Last year we switched to 1-1/2” pvc pipe to a 1-1/2” hose. The only issue we ever have is when the three sensors on the pump get dirty and need to be brushed clean. We use a old tooth brush. The hose adapters are super helpful - use a regular hose or a 2in hose to move water quicker. Reason for 4 stars is that it’s misleading that it gets water down to 1/8inch. It’s more like 3/4inch but no way is it 1/8.
