I have been interested in the low acid body (making it at the correct alkaline level) since I saw Tony Robbins when I lived in Canada, there's other stuff you can use to alkaline your body which is liquid drops that contribute to your alkalising lifestyle low acid diet which are pricey for a good one it can range from £17-£29 for 30ml and it only last a month and having used it I don't think it works had fast as this does, so having this quality Bicarbonate Of Soda is a great way of doing the same thing for cheaper and by all accounts it works a lot faster I took a dose a quarter of a teaspoon 30 mins later checked my acid level and it was around 6 now I know it should be at the 7.3 level but the day before I took the BS I checked my acid with the test strip and it didn't even change colour. I have got my whole family into this we have made BS mouth wash which gets rid of bacteria in the mouth to stop bad breath and it works we put 1 teaspoon to every pint of boiled water we use bottle water but still boiled it for extra purity, I have my son on BS who is 20 years old he suffers from migraines he has since he has been 12 they are really bad he vomits with them, we have tried acupuncture numerous crap pills from the doctors you name it we have tried it except trying to get his body down to the correct alkaline level, I seriously do believe this will work for him if the medical science spent more money on a preventative cure than billions on producing pills that give you acid, side effects. and then tell you there's nothing else we can do for you is a shambles. those who don't know about the alkaline balance research it and learn about it because keeping your body in balance will totally help your health and warn of those viruses and bugs that will say your body inst acid enough lets infect someone else. even when my wife went to the doctors this week who is on thyroid tabs for an under active one, she told her that she was taking BS is it OK with my tablets and she said keep taking BS if you want it wont effect these Tablets, I am not a doctor so still see your doctor if you are on tabs for this but this is just what happened to my wife. the reason drug company's don't highlight this is because they cant patent it because its already available if you have an herbal substance that is found to help with your disease like apricot kernels and cancer they will only try to discredit you instead of saying the evidence we are getting is people are getting better with this lets research it instead. they do not want a cure because they are making to much money without having a cure. the charity s I believe are the same its a business now they also don't want cures just your money.

This is a great product, tastes far nicer than supermarket type. Would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the awkward lid - it does up OK, but then gets horribly stuck when you try to re-open it? Started taking Bicarb to reduce acidity in the body, then found to my absolute shock that it was killing off Candida. First it worked on my oesophagus, that felt really weird and tingly. Then it just helped my whole abdominal region to cool down and literally not feel so hot? As I never suffered from UTIs, I thought I was clear Can-blooming-dida. How wrong I was! Had all the classic symptoms beforehand e.g. bloating, increased migraines, fungal outbreaks on skin, joint pain, fatigue etc. I've since started the complete Candida protocol, but while I was waiting for my Methylene Blue to arrive, my sinus pain got so bad I made up a solution and douched my sinuses with it several times. The awful migraine ended. Lot of nose-blowing mind you. Apparently, if you eliminate Candida overgrowth, you have a high chance of ending sinus headaches once and for all. After 4 migraines in one month I was desperate, and glad I made the connection. Really think Candida is seriously under-diagnosed everywhere, especially here. I detest Candida so much for what it did to my adrenals, it saps them dry by stealing your B12 and your B5. In the end you're a walking zombie believing you're just ageing really fast? Apparently it messes about with your Thyroid too, in that people with Candida have low Thyroid output. If that's not enough, it makes your pancreas overactive (see Chaitow). I wish I'd worked out earlier what on earth was wrong with me, so much time has been totally wasted on feeding that revolting bug. Update 11/03/14: I'm waiting for my copy of Dr Simoncini's research into Candida Albicans as being the cause of cancer. Sorry if that sounds a bit blunt, but I for one happen to believe the link, because I'd come across data while I was looking into my kidney stones, that suggested increased fungal activity as being responsible for high levels of Oxalate. This Italian oncologist reckons cancer is a fungus, and that fungus is Candida Albicans. He's actually using Bicarb to destroy it. I don't have a problem believing his theory, especially because if you don't believe how Bicarb can kill the fungus in your body, just look at how it annihilates the moss on your driveway. Update 14/04/14: I've just received another 2 jars of this stuff. You cannot fault the product, but honestly the lid is just awful and should arrive with a lid spanner. Eventually I got the thing off and swapped it for my old lid, because there is something very odd about the stuff they use to make the thread on these lids??

Also to Keep the body alkaline. Our bodies become acidic due to the foods and supplements we take. Sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise that acid. It's also great soaking fruits and vegetables to remove dirt, pesticides & bugs. Great for athletes foot & toenail fungus. Add Sodium bicarbonate with magnesium chloride flakes in a warm water foot bath and soak for 15-20 min before pedicure. Value for money. Cheap & cheerful product.

Good quality product nice fine powder and no nasty additives

I use it to soak the veg in. It also cleans insecticides I also mix a quarter tea spoon of it in water. It quickly gets rid of stomach acidity.

price & delivery I will be buying all future bi-carb from this supplier, I love this stuff, balances out my ph level thus removing the acid from my body which cancer needs in order to grow. aluminium free so reduces the chance of alzheimer's too. a small tea spoon in a glass off water at night to help reduce acid levels from the day. I also use it in my scone mix when baking... a litle bit of what you fancy does you good as grandma used to say! now to see if they do a top of the range organic cold pressed free from junk coconut oil?

This product has huge reviews on Amazon with respect to making urine more alkaline. I have decided not to use it as i noticed i generated a lot of bloating after using it twice. Overall my experience is neutral as I am not sure of what the desired outcome could have been.
