Way bigger than I expected (in a good way). Covers a lot of space and feels tough enough to handle hot grease or dropped tools. No weird smells, lays flat after a bit, and cleans up easily. Great for under a grill or even as a general work mat indoors.

It does seem a bit thing, but it lasted all last summer and is still holding up this summer. With how thin it was I was worried it would become brittle and start showing wear and holes quickly but it has held up. The only issue is the way the edge is stitched I always have at least 1 corner that is curling up and I could never get this thing to lay completely flat. It functions just fine and is easy to wipe grease off of and keeps it off my deck, just wish it would lay and stay laying flat.

Works great, has kept my deck safe from sparks and heat. It’s very easy to clean and has proven to be very durable.

This grill mat looked really nice when we first received it, keeps the grease off of our concrete, and is easy to clean. Unfortunately it is very light and the edges curl up, it becomes unsightly after a few months. My recommendation is to spend more on a high quality grill mat.

I never thought about safety around my BBQ beyond the usual stuff. At least I didn't until I used woodchips in my infrared grill and accidentally dropped an ember on the ground. Thankfully the grill is on concrete, but it's not far from the grass. I needed something that would contain any flammable materials that might accidentally end up on the ground. This does precisely that. I've not tried to set it on fire, but the material is glassfiber so it should hold up to the heat. Cleaning is pretty easy as the material seems to be hydrophobic, so a quick dab with a paper towel picks up anything that drips.

THIS MAT IS RIDICULOUSLY THIN , NO WEIGHT TO IT JUST BLOWS AROUND folds up under the grill IN EVEN A SLIGHT BREEZE WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING! i doubt its 3 layers on anything i almost want to rip it open to see for myself they would have to be paper thin layers. same thing with it listed as fireproof up to 2000 degrees this looks like it would just go up in flames i really want to test that as well. i cant get the 30 or 40 fold lines to come out even after laying in the hot sun and they look like crap and for $30 it shouldnt. mine appear to only have silicon treatment on 1 side not both as listed. one side is very slick and shiny the other is not. overall just dont waste your money and time buy a name brand mat for a little more money this thing doent even sport a name just says made in china yeah no joke! sending it back and people should stop giving it 5 stars after they get it for free because you are hyping up a very bad and not fire safe item

I love grilling outdoors, but I was always worried about grease splatters and hot embers damaging my patio. This under grill mat has been a lifesaver! The mat is thick and sturdy, and it does a great job of insulating my patio from the heat of the grill. I haven't seen any scorch marks or heat damage since I started using it. The double-sided design is really convenient. No matter which side gets splattered with grease, I can just flip the mat over and keep grilling. Clean up is a breeze - I usually just hose it off or wipe it down with soapy water.

Honestly i was fooled by all the reviews, its too thin and will definitely not protect your lawn or grass from any heat. Beware.

We purchased two for our griddle and smoker. They seam to work quite well and cover the entire appliance base. The reason for only 4stars is that they are very light weight and can easily be picked up by wind so be ready to straighten them out. Hopefully they withstand the test of time.

Does what it said. Easy fold, takes the heat of a smoker lid being put down on it with no issues.
