My Dermat gave me the sunscreen from the brand which I absolutely love, so decided to try out another product. Zeroed in on the retinol. I’m close to 40, have tried 2 retinols before this. One burnt me, one led to a bad purge. So I was excited , but skeptical. Tried it for a couple of week and wow wow wow. What an amazing product. It feels amazing on the skin. Makes my skin glow, feel tighter next morning. I’ve got compliments from everyone. I didn’t burn.. was careful, started only thrice a week usage as advised on the pack. I used cetaphil dam as a moisturiser over the serum. And till now, haven’t purged. I’m feeling good about this, so decided to post. Will update after a 3 month usage

Disclaimer: skincare is very subjective and everyones skin is different. Everything I say about my experience could be totally false on your skin. My skin type is combination (on the more oily side in the summer). On paper, there is much to like. The ingredients list checks a lot of boxes. The packaging is functional. The consistency is gel like and it feels nice and cooling when applying on the skin. Though it doesn't pill on its own unless you apply a nonsensical amount of friction on your skin, it does pill with some of my other gel like consistency skincare products (ponds gel moisturizer for example). So, for those who are looking for a reasonably light weight all-in-one serum step in their skincare, this might fit the bill. But it might not work if you have a hectic layering sknicare regimen. I personally like it even though it causes pilling with some of my other steps. Pretty nice lighter alternative to all the squalene based retinol serums out there.

I have never tried retinol before but my dermat told me I should try it. She recommended the derma decode one because it's super easy on the skin and so easy to use. Within one use I can tell my skin feels hydrated and plump. It’s very light weight and can be used a few times in a week. I’m permanently adding this to my night time routine. Highly recommended!

I used it for 3 months but didn't notice any changes in fineline and wrinkles

Derma Decode’s packaging is very beautiful specially colourful pictures in front provides exact information about it’s usage. The product quality is outstanding. Especially the texture of the product which gives nice coverage in minimal quantity. It is not sticky at all & gives smooth skin touch. It always exceeding my expectations. Simply impressed that this is not oily and absorbs so easily with a gel format and smooth texture.. results are great and I could see significant changes in 4 weeks.. pores were reduced, appearance of lines reduced, skin is glowing and feels slightly tighter and younger.
