Motorcraft PM5 Fuel Injector Cleaner by Motorcraft

This is a good product, especially when compared to others. My experience with other brands is that it is so harsh, that once its been cleaned your dedicated for life. I read one time that was because those cleaners actually remove a finish in the injector. The motorcraft does not do that. Many people buy this buy this thinking its in the tank cleaner, it is not. It is professional use only. Requires special equipment. If you don't have the equipment to do it, it is available in a self pressurized can that can be hooked up to your fuel rail. Either of these are not a drive up to O'Riley's or Auto zone do it yourself used item. You will have to have some advanced mechanical knowledge to use this correctly. A shop told me a customer one time actually poured this into his gas tank, and eventually ate through the tank . Not sure of all the circumstances, but I wouldn't try it.

When delivered can had been leaking tried to do return unable. Ihave used product before and works very well.

89 f250 with 460 efi was running rough, used this stuff in my canister per instructions. Will attempt to start but will not start using this stuff at all. When switching back to gas it goes back to running.
