NOT a Standalone Alarm - Lifebuoy BCone Additional Pool Unit - Requires BCone Home Unit to Function

I previously reviewed the BCone System I purchased earlier and gave it 5 stars. The additional unit was necessary due to the size of my pool. It too gets 5 stars as it works seamlessly in concert with the original pool sensor to provide full protection to alert me if one of my dogs fall into the pool. How do I know if works it the dogs have not fallen into the pool (a good thing)? Every once in a while I get in the pool forgetting to put the system in Swim Mode and I set off the system. The system is excellent, and so is the tech support. They are fast, responsive and patient. I did need their help a few times and they were right there for me.

This is a must-have if you have a larger pool and a BCONE pool alarm system. You can add this to expand the area that the alarm monitors to provide the necessary safety you may need. The units are synchronized, so they all go off simultaneously when one goes off. It is extremely easy to install and add to the app. It comes with two AA batteries that will last based on usage and are easy to replace once they die. The quality is the same as the ones in the original alarm, and they are both well-made. The size is not too demanding, so it will fit in most pools and not detract from your pool's appearance. It works as expected and is reasonably priced to enhance security for everyone's safety.

Well made, good peace of mind: This is a supplementary sensor to the lifebuoy pool alarm system and pairs very easily with the original system. The product itself is clearly well designed and solidly assembled, with materials and manufacturing that both help ensure a watertight seal, even in inclement weather. I ordered this product as a supplement to the original because we occasionally set up a smaller plastic baby pool next to the main pool during the summers and just want to be sure no toddler running around accidently ends up in the smaller pool while unattended. So far the system has worked great when tested, and is such a nice, passive system that it gives me a lot of peace of mind that someone falling into the unattended pool won't go unnoticed, and requires very little effort to "arm" when you want it to work. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a standalone alarm system, but only an additional or replacement unit that you attach to a system you must already own. I already have a LifeBuoy BCone alarm system for my pool at home. It covers the pool perfectly and I don't have a bad thing to say about it. We recently had a had separate hot tub installed next to the pool. Being a separate body of water, this created a new safety concern. As a result, we needed a solution to remedy the problem without having to by a whole new alarm system. Well, fortunately the BCone system is expandable up to a total of 4 units. So we were able to order this additional unit to attach to the existing system. Now we're able to monitor both the pool and the hot tub to make sure that nobody falls in accidentally. It's also good to know that if one of the units stops working for some reason that I can get replacement unit for less than the cost of an entire new system.

This device is used with the BCone pool alarm system. We have a pool and I got this for the hot tub. We have a toddler so having a pool alarm is a must. The system is very easy to setup and operate. The app is easy to use, and the device has good connectivity. The device uses batteries, and the batteries last all season. The alarm notification is excellent, and you can set it up to meet your needs.

Must have if you have kids. We already have the system but our pool is larger so we wanted to be on the safe side. This works just fine. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend the BCONE pool alarm system.

Secured this extra unit for our Spa and it paired up seamlessly with our existing system, huge fan of B-Cone, safe/sensible security at a reasonable price.
