Review: good quality belt for pullups and dips - Good belt, compact and easy to use to load dips and pullups. Chain is quite long, i find it better to loop it round twice. Fit and comfort is fine - maybe tiny bit big on me (I'm 5ft, 50kg-ish so it should fit an average size person no problem!). Only minor thing - there was a point during first set of pullups where i thought the weight might slide off taking my pants with them. They didn't though, I just had to be careful with positioning. And I think this was only an issue because of the size thing mentioned above, and choice of pants - so not to worry for most ppl!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How much weight will this hold up to?**
A: I was doing 180lb weighted dips and it bent the metal hoops holding the chain, broke the belt.  Id say this belt cannot take more than 180lbs unless you replace the standard hoops with heavy duty harbingers.  Had to replace the hoops with heavy duty carabigners.  Belt can now take 270lb which is the max amount of plates that will fit on the belt

**Q: Can this be used as hip squat belt ?**
A: I'm sure it can, but if you're using 45s they'll probably hit the ground.

**Q: Does this dip belt also work as a weight belt? If not, are there any belts out there that serve both purposes?**
A: I was always wondering if there are any belts which serve both purposes because I didn't want to buy two different belts and carrying them together...it would be very inconvenient....and actually I found one...it is WSF Genesis Universal Lifting/Dipping Belt...I'm not sure if I would buy this one though...

**Q: does the chain long enough to hold 3 45pounds plates?**
A: Depends on the type of plates -- at my gym they have some 45 lb plates that have notches along the outer edge. I found a better solution though -- I wrap the chain once around a 125 lb dumbbell and the chain is more than long enough. Stand the dumbbell upright to do this.

Good belt, compact and easy to use to load dips and pullups. Chain is quite long, i find it better to loop it round twice.
