Easy to use and wash teapot
I bought this Teapot quite a few months ago, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The design is sleek and minimalist, and it feels really sturdy in hand. The one-touch functionality is so convenient—it makes pouring a breeze without any spills or mess. I also love how the built-in strainer keeps my tea perfectly filtered, without any loose leaves floating around. The teapot holds just the right amount for a couple of cups, making it ideal for personal use or sharing with a friend. It’s also really easy to clean, which is a huge plus. The stainless steel keeps the tea warm for a decent amount of time, and it looks stylish on my kitchen counter. Overall, it’s a high-quality teapot that elevates my tea-drinking experience. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves a good cup of tea!

Better than reviews suggest
This is an under-rated product, in my opinion. To begin with, there are only about a dozen teapots on Amazon with this design. And the design itself is my favorite for tea. I've been making tea several times a day for 30 years, with the aim to have a great tasting loose leaf pot, while minimizing my workload. This has lasted my family a long time now. I have the Rishi teapot mugs as well, for comparison. And I have the both the small and large version of this teapot. I use these little teapots every single day, without exception, sometimes several times a day. They are sturdy and have not broken. The filter keeps all tea from escaping even the finer Irish breakfast types. The lid sometimes pops out while pouring, so I would hold it down with a finger as you allow the liquid to fully decant. But the lid is simpler and easier to clean compared to the rishi meshes. And the design looks simpler. Tea leaves always get caught at the spout, which is my least favorite feature. But then I just turn the lid a bit to find some open mesh; the mesh spans the entire circumference of the lid, which is extremely useful. Having a wide lid is also useful and efficient for dumping the tea. After using the tea leaves, I fill the pot with cool tap water and dump it into my garden. Great for all the plants. So far as looks, it's not bad. For beauty the fully glass teapots are prettiest, in my opinion. But they are not as practical for the rugged every day use in my family; two or more brews a day per person. this pot also doubles as a wonderful collection vessel for my V60 coffee pour-overs. The rounded bowl on the bottom is very pretty to show off tea and coffee.

highly recommended
Beautiful teapot. I wish it would come in a larger size. Good quality materials. No leaks around the cap rim when pouring tea

Most convenient teapot ever
I loved the idea of this teapot from the first time I saw it. A strainer built into the lid? Genius! If I could give this product 10 stars, I would. Normally, my tea process goes like this: 1. Boil water in electric kettle (to be able to control precise temperatures for different tea varieties) 2. Pour water over loose leaf tea (SO much better than tea bags) in a tea pot (and not in a closed strainer) so that the tea can really expand and release its flavors 3. Pour into mug or thermos over a small strainer to catch the tea. 4. Keep strainer set aside for multiple uses. I love tea. And this was the absolute best way until this tea pot. And I've tried them all. I've used the brew in the electric kettle devices and they simply don't taste the same and are a hassle to clean. The problems with the method above is that step 3 usually ends up with the strainer becoming too full of tea and creating some splashing, sometimes requiring a funnel as well if you're pouring into a tall thermos. Then you have to have a bowl or some vessel to hold your dripping strainer in case you want to resteep your tea. It's inconvenient, but there was no better way...until Kinto's unitea one touch tea pot. It makes the tea brewing process so much more streamlined and accessible for people who don't want to do a whole tea ceremony every morning, but demand quality of flavor. Now I just pour my hot water into this teapot and then I can pour into my mug. The brewed tea can just hang out in the pot until I decide to add more water, it's perfect. I've given many as gifts. So thank you Kinto for making my life easier. If you're reading this - I would like to suggest a larger size. I know there are two sizes, but an even larger one would really seal the deal for me as a lifelong fan. If I'm having tea by myself or with one other person, these are great! But I find I have to resort to my original method if I need to serve 4+ people or even 3 people (when I'm filling thermoses).

Minimalist Tea Pot
Was looking for a small minimalist tea pot. This looks beautiful when serving with the matching clear mugs. The strainer though makes it a little difficult to get the tea out you really have to tilt it upside down.

Good Tea Pot
So this pot is a good value for the money and the glass is pretty high quality as it does not affect the tea quality. It has a solid build quality and weight to go along with it. Tea flavor is always better when brewed in solid glass pots. The size is good for a full solid mug of tea. It cleans up pretty well and makes making tea a breeze.

A great little tea pot. Works great for loose tea and tea bags. Easy to reheat in microwave.

Very nice, but fragile
This is the second kinto that I have purchased. They are very nice, but a pinch fragile. I purchased an off-brand one previously, and I did not like it as well. I like the built-in strainer. It makes for easy cleaning. I would recommend hand washing over dishwashering. The size is perfect for a travel mug, or you can receive into a larger craft.

All in all this is a great design and is my favourite teapot by far for everyday tea drinking and will need to repurchase if it was ever broken Pros Because of the one touch function, you do not need to fiddle with a filter compartment, just drop the loose leaves right into the pot and add hot water. This is one of the biggest advantages Because it is glass and one touch you can see the leaves floating inside, so if you are very fussy about the level of brewing you can easily see when the leaves are half floating half settled and adjust the to your preferred amount of tea more readily The ease of use encourages you to drink more loose leaf tea, which means more variety and cheaper than bagged tea Great hand feel, not flimsy, very stable Does not drip Durable glass that’s not too thick or thin at 17 pounds this is a cheaper price then I've seen in specialty shops (seen one at 24 pounds) Cons You can’t stop it brewing within the teapot so if you are fussy about not over brewing you need to pour the tea out to drink when it is done instead of just taking the filter out like some other teapots. But, if you don’t mind over brewing or if you drink the tea so quickly like me, then it isn’t a problem. But if you did make sure you get this size for 2 cups or the smaller for 1 cup so the tea isn’t wasted.

Sehr tolle Kanne.
