Smokey, sweet, fiery, cooooool!
Addicted to this stuff... Works awesomely on belly pork, bacon and other fatty meats (🦆 is nice, lamb works well too). Also works super well with cashew nuts and a oven roasted.

Quite spicy
Can be used in all Asian or even european cooking to add the extra flavour that is sometimes needed to give your dishes that extra little bit of jush.

Smells alcoholic and looks processed
I bought this after I started getting into Korean food. This is poor Gochujang Paste as it’s mostly wheat and contains only 6% Gochugaru chilli powder. I buy proper Korean gochugaru chilli flakes, joy Chinese grown ones. I didn’t check the ingredients before purchasing - my mistake When I opened the container the first smell is one of alcohol and it’s unpleasant. I make my own Kimchi from scratch and you definitely couldn’t use this in it (as some have said) as it’s a poor excuse for a substitute. I haven’t used it as the smells put my off. It’s nothing like the gochugaru paste made by Koreans when you watch traditional Korean cooking videos. I don’t recommend this at all.
