Lots of different lenses with light to use for my model railroading!

I bought this for general handyman work, and started to return it because you can't use it with both eyes. The lenses face straight forward so they don't converge on your work item. Then I went back to the ad, and it specifically says this in the description, so I'm keeping them. I looked for other magnifiers that would do what I wanted, but those are the dental ones at $150 or more. I am going to try to make a jig that will bend these to focus on my subject... we'll see. The quality is average - it's a light, plastic, overseas-made item, but that doesn't mean it won't work. It won't surprise me if they break soon, as it's not a durable item, but for the price it will be helpful to me for a while (I hope).

The product looks cool and gives you an idea of how the product will work but it could differ from what you are expecting. First of all, the attached lenses dont work as a traditional magnifying glass, you must have your thing you are inspecting up close to your eyes wearing these glasses. Secondly even with the lowest lenses it will show pictures blurry until you physically get closer to your inspected object. Thirdly the best addition this product offers is the light on the sides, turning these lights on can be a little tricky besides the fact that both circular levers are opposite threaded, I also dont appreciate the fact that the lights go up with the lenses when moving them up meaning to inspect something raw with light you must take the lense off with are also opposite threaded. I could list more problems but the only reason I give this product a 4 is because its original use isnt what I was expecting which I should of read since it does that job well, and that these work well for carving wood and inspecting your crafting since you already hold the wood close up to you. Also do the batteries die? how would I recharge them/insert batteries?

I had high hopes for the Lxiangen magnifying glasses with LED light, but unfortunately, this product is a major disappointment. While the concept is good, the execution is severely lacking due to poor design and cheap materials. The hinged lenses are meant to flip up and lock into various positions, but after just a few days, the mechanism fails. Once that happens, you can never get the lenses to stay securely in place. I even tried adding Velcro to the frames to hold them steady, but that proved useless. The LED lights are another weak point. They are dim, unreliable, and often refuse to turn on at all. When they do work, they are hardly bright enough to be useful. The included plastic case for storing the lenses is frustrating to use. It lacks any kind of securing latch, so when you open it, the lenses tend to spill out. More than once, I had to waste time sorting and reorganizing them. Ultimately, the cheap plastic construction gave out entirely, and the front of the frames snapped, leaving me with a useless, broken product. At best, these glasses might work as a novelty toy, but if you need them for any serious work, look elsewhere. The build quality is flimsy, and they are simply not worth the money. I will not be buying this product again.

Love it! It works perfectly for coins, jewelry or anything else that you need to see up close. The LED lights work great too!

Nice pair of magnification glasses. The LED light is a great add on. Be careful first time you open the lens box, it’s a little hard and I ended up with some of them on the floor, but they are labeled in the case and in the lens so it’s easy to put them back in the right place. Lens are easy to put on and take off, and I also opened and closed the battery case to make sure it was easy to do so, and it is. Comes with a strap for your head, but I’m not sure I’ll use it, but it’s nice to have. Great value for the price.

Two stars bc i feel bad leaving 1, but I work on miniatures and jewelry so I got these. As someone w experience owning loops, in response to others reviews I will say these are 100% intended for single focal use. However, without a way to manually focus the lens these are nearly impossible to use. 2.5x is the only way to wear these with visibility, for other magnifications you shouldn't be required to hold whatever medium or instrument youre using flesh with the lends. W 2.5x you can hold whatever about 10in away. 6x and beyond is impossible. There isnt really a practical way to use these, which is upsetting given the way its marketed in this listing. Seems a little scammy. Doesn't fulfill its intended use.
