Eucerin Sun Oil Control Dry Touch Sun Gel-Crème SPF50+

I've been using this sunscreen for a couple of months now, and this is my second time ordering it. It protects your skin from UV really well. It doesn't leave a white cast or greasy residue, so it is suitable for darker skin tones!

I have used this sunscreen daily as a facial SPF for commuting, outdoor walking, and longer days spent under direct sun, choosing it specifically for its oil-control claims. The gel-cream texture is immediately noticeable, spreading easily and absorbing within seconds without dragging or leaving a white cast. On my skin it sets to a genuinely matte finish, making it comfortable to wear alone or under moisturiser and make-up. It feels lightweight throughout the day, with no heaviness or pore congestion, even in warmer conditions where many face SPFs tend to break down. Performance-wise, protection has been reliable, with no signs of burning or irritation after prolonged exposure. Reapplication is straightforward, although layering multiple times can introduce slight tackiness by late afternoon. The formula is effective for oil control, but it is not completely shine-proof during high humidity, and the small 50 ml size means it runs out quickly with proper application. Overall, it strikes a strong balance between cosmetic elegance and sun protection, with minor compromises in longevity and value.

I have problems with using oily sun protection so I thought I'd try this. On my 2nd bottle and love the stuff, light non greasy no white peel just absorbs into skin. I wear this every morning over my moisturiser.

Good

As a brown skinned girl with very oily and acne prone skin, this sunscreen has become my holy grail. I have been using this for the past 9 months or so. It leaves no white cast, has no perfumes so no irritating smell, goes very well with cerave moisturizer so no peeling of any kind, has a creamy texture while at the same time also has a mattifying effect so helps to keep my oily face somewhat under control. It goes well with foundation in makeup - for concealer I recommend waiting until it's fully absorbed to apply otherwise it becomes very difficult to blend. It has helped with my hyperpigmentation. Highly recommend just wish it came in a bigger bottle.
