Awesome Chess Set

Beautiful chess set, well made
This is a good size chess board. It fits well on the coffee table. The pieces are smooth with no rough spots and have nice detail. The felt on the bottom keeps them from scratching the board. There is also felt on the bottom of the chess board itself. Some people mentioned that checker pieces are not included, but we happily received the checker pieces in our set. The chess set was carefully packaged in a sturdy box. We appreciate the fact that you can store the pieces inside of the chess board chest. This was a wedding present from my daughter to her husband and he loved it. The only thing it could be lacking, and it's not really any issue, more an upgrade suggestion, it's a spot in the storage area for a die or a coin which is used to determine who goes first. Made in China.
