(just over 2 hours) it was easy to put together. Once constructed it is very stable and I wouldn't agree with a couple of reviews I read saying this was not the case or the door catches were not secure as the ones on our kitchen were fine. My daughter loved it from the moment she opened it and has played with it daily ever since. Although it is an expensive item compared to other play kitchens, especially plastic alternatives, after shopping around and reading many reviews, I believe this will be far more durable and last much longer, as well as looking far more attractive than any other in the market, it never fails to get a compliment from visitors. It is well made and withstands quite a battering from my two girls, it still looks as good as new. My daughters enjoy putting things in the cupboards, and my youngest especially likes the little phone.
