Perfect… exactly what you should expect..

Not used yet but it seems legit and it fits the mixer perfectly. Please note the person who said it doesnt fit 5KSM150 is wrong it does. Delivered early.

I was pleased with the prompt delivery but as usual the kitchen aid attachments appear poor quality. I have had to replace attachments quite often where as my kenwood machine lasted 30 years of lots of use.

In my family we like to bake our own bread but like everything else in life it's trying to find the time to do it. I have a kitchen aid mixer and purchased this dough hook as a valuable addition to my bread making process. Using the dough hook it saves time and energy in the mixing process. Does what it should in no time at all. The shape and design allow the hook to cut through the dough and mix it at the same time. While this is going on you can get on with other things or just have a cup of tea.

Product started losing the coating after few uses. This was a replacement for the same piece which came with the mixer and started to present the same issue. Please avoid and purchase the stainless steel version, otherwise you will end up eat the coating in your preparations… this is extremely disappointing from such a reputable brand…

It's a hook and kneeds well. Needed to buy as original (same) item has some peeling away coating, hence removed 2 stars.

Had to replace my old dough hook as the white was coming off in chunks into my pizza dough....not a nice taste, I can assure you. This one may well do the same but for now its doing the job well and saving my arms....
