Review: Nice travel set - Compact travel backgammon set, sides take a minute or two to get right the first time but then you’re all set. I replaced the wooden checkers with Bakelite ones since they glide a little better. Overall well made, the price could come down a bit but it is nice for us traveling.
Review: Both great boards - I love the smaller version for portability. The down side is the dice roll off quite often. The larger board is like a full size board. They are both easy to set up and stow away. I was going to keep one and give the other away, but they seem to have different purposes - depending on how much room you have, where you are playing and your frustration tolerance of re-rolling dice because they fall off the small board or land on pieces more than the larger board. I hope the pictures give you a decent comparison. They are both well made and will serve you well.

I love the smaller version for portability. The down side is the dice roll off quite often. The larger board is like a full size board. They are both easy to set up and stow away. I was going to keep one and give the other away, but they seem to have different purposes - depending on how much room you have, where you are playing and your frustration tolerance of re-rolling dice because they fall off the small board or land on pieces more than the larger board. I hope the pictures give you a decent comparison. They are both well made and will serve you well.
