Review: Nice little ride on - I bought this Scuttlebug Butterfly for my niece’s 2nd birthday in December 2025 and she absolutely loves it. It’s sturdy and very easy to collapse, so it can be stored neatly under the sofa or down the side. I initially thought it could be adjusted to grow with her, but it can’t. Overall, it’s a great little bike, although if I were buying again I’d probably choose the version with multi directional wheels , as it would make it easier for her to steer and get around.

**Q: What age would you say this is for?**
A: We bought it as a Christmas present for our grandson who was 18months old at the time. It was just right for him, because he was big enough to get on and off and his legs were long enough to reach the floor. He is now nearly two and still gets lots of fun from riding it. I would say it will still just be ok up to the age of three, but his four year old brother is too big for it.

**Q: What is the seat height?**
A: HiIt's around 25cm

**Q: Are the wheels rubber or plastic?**
A: Plastic, we have four of these in my nursery and the children love them. /they are ideal to fold and pack away.

**Q: Does anyone know the weight limit?**
A: I'm not sure of the weight limit. I bought it for my two year old but my five year old happily plays on it and it takes his weight fine
