BettyLou Cordless Rechargeable LED Lamp

I have a betty lou and love the lamp. However, the battery will no longer recharge. What type of rechargeable battery do I need? The battery provided is an industrial type rechargeable battery with the following description: DLG ICR 18490 1400MAH HP/R8E05 I searched on amazon with this series of letters and numbers and no rechargeable battery came up. If anyone knows, please let me know.

This is a great idea! Finally, a way to go cordless with table lighting. These lamps will not replace those used for reading or to illuminate large areas but then that is not what they are designed to do. We bought three to light a 10' dining room table that otherwise had no direct lighting. Certainly wouldn't put three corded lamps of any kind on a dining table so these are the perfect solution. They last about 7 hours on a charge as advertised and charging isn't difficult (after seven hours it is way past time for dinner guests to leave anyway). The design we believe is very attractive and the soft glow helps illuminate our table. We can almost guarantee that your guests will notice and comment favorably on them. The reason for four instead of five stars is that at night the lamps alone aren't quite enough, even three of them, to illuminate our table and plates without any other nearby light. Maybe we should buy another one. I hope mmckenna finds a way to up the brightness. Otherwise this is a clever and useful product in a very attractive package at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it. One question: who is BettyLou?
