The StepRite Kitchen Mat is extremely comfortable and has just the right thickness for long periods of standing. It has a nice memory foam feel that provides excellent support and relief for feet, legs, and back. The mat is also large enough to move or shuffle around without worrying about stepping off, which makes it great for use in the kitchen or at a standing desk. I have no cons to mention — this mat is well-made, supportive, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Very soft and comfortable to stand on in the kitchen. It has been holding up well. I've purchased others in the past that have flaked off plastic in no-time. This one hasn't been doing that. It seems like a softer material on top. (Not a flakey, hard plastic.) It is lightweight and easy enough to move if I want to move it from in front of one counter to another - until I buy a second one.

To preface this review: I got this mat for use at my standing desk while my office floor is a hard tile flooring. I have experience with 4 other standing mats, so while not extensive, I have some experience with a small variety of standing mats. I'm a slightly overweight individual at 220Lbs, so your experience may vary if you are on the lighter side. This mat definitely helps with my leg fatigue and slightly for my back pain, but did nothing for my feet. The cushioning is a very soft memory foam-like material, which would be great in theory, but my heels and balls of my feet sink right through to the floor underneath while bare foot. It likely works great for kitchen use if you're moving around a bit, or washing dishes for shorter periods of time, but it really doesn't provide the needed support for hours of standing in one place as you would for a standing desk while working. It's thicker than many other standing mats on the market which is likely what provides the leg and back fatigue relief, but because of how soft the material is, it defeats the purpose for foot pain / fatigue. Wearing shoes significantly helps, likely due to the larger area of pressure distribution combined with the extra padding from the shoe's insoles. But, working from home 8+ hours per day, I'm not trying to be wearing shoes the entire time. All-in-all, it's not a bad standing mat. It's a little too soft, but the extra padding definitely provides some level of comfort to an extent. With that said, I ordered a firmer / springier mat that's on the way, and will be moving this one to the kitchen sink as soon as my new one comes in for the office desk.

I bought the 4/5 Inch Thick Kitchen Mat Anti Fatigue Mat for my kitchen, and I love how thick and durable it is. It makes standing for long periods while cooking or washing dishes much more comfortable, and it really helps with foot and leg fatigue. That said, I ran into a couple of issues. The mat turned our feet black, which was frustrating, especially when wearing socks. I also tried to clean it, but it left bubbles and suds, making cleanup a bit tricky.

Feels nice under your feet, hope it helps with back pain as well. Perfect size for where i needed it.

First time buying 2 of this mat. In fact I wanted to buy one for friend's new house. I washed one to test out. The soap foam never seemed to be washed off by hand, so I put it into washer to wash (but risked damaging the mat). There are still residual soap foam when I pressed on the mat. Sunned it a few days and used dehumidifier to dry the mat but it is still damp. Thinking of throwing one away and returning one to Amazon
