Can you use it on Mac?

According to the box it can be used on “MacOSX 10.4 (Intel-based) or later” I am currently using my 1900 on Linux Mint, Kali, and Windows, in both virtual and standard installs. There are a few videos on YT to assist with the install.

Anyone know if this can be used with kali linux?

No it doesn't work with kali linux, you can put it on monitor mode but it will never catch any device and all your scans will be with 0 results.. Trust me don't waste your money i watched alot of tutorials and documents regarding this wifi.. It doesn't suite with kali linux

How many DBs are the antennas

I would guess about 3db given their Omni directional antennas so the RF isn't as focused like Yagi antennas are. These antenna's are swappable so you can attach better high gain antenna's.

does it work on laptop with USB 2.0 only?

Yes, but throughput will be slower because of the speed which usb has.
