Bushcraft Essentials Grill Plate Bushbox XL

I have the bushbox xl and absolutely love it. I use it for cooking simple meals for one when wild camping. This is a great addition as it gives you much more room to cook on. The standard size square plate is only really big enough for one large burger, and you couldn't fit a large steak on it. This gives a bit if overhang on each side which is really useful, and also allows you to warm flatbreads and stuff. The larger grill plate does fit in the case with the stove. And there's still room for the smaller one, along with trivets etc. I had some very slight warping on the first use, but I'd expect this, however if you make sure the plate tabs are clipped into the locating slots in the stove then it prevents excessive warping. Overall I'd definitely recommend this, if you're cooking on your bushbox it's pretty much essential

I purchased this grill plate to complement my bushcraft essentials bushbox XL stove. It is constructed of the same high quality stainless steel as the stove and allows me to use my cup on the stove at the same time as cooking juicy sausages.

I have not used it yet, but I am certain it will do the job. It is well made and, if you are buying the Bushcraft XL stove, is an extra which you will be pleased to possess.

Bought this grill plate as an add on for my bushbox mainly because it’s made by the manufacturer. Was pretty disappointed with the warping on the grill plate after first burn. Not worth £17 because of this...
