I use a soft sponge to wipe and scrub the whole surface above the water, plus a centimetre or so below. The instructions then say to splash the water from the hot tub over the cleaned surface. The hot tub filter will then get rid of any dirt particles from the water. Use it regularly to keep your hot tub in good condition and maintain good water quality. This should be part of your weekly cleaning routine. Top tip: shower prior to using your hot tub, and don’t use it if you’re wearing fake tan, this really helps keep everything clean and means you don’t need to change the water quite as often. **Q: Has anybody found that using this caused foaming?** A: I never have. I only spray it on to sponge and wipe though, never spray directly on to tub. **Q: Can this be used to clean a bestway above ground pool?** A: I bought this for cleaning our hot tub & cover . I checked the Bestway.com website for cleaning advice for their pools and they recommend Miracle Pads and Clearwater Scale & Stain Controller. No mention of any antibacterial product.
