Best coffee maker in the UK for the money

This is my third one over a period of 20+ years. I chose the black this time because the white machines get coffee stained in the filter section which I could not get clean. Easy to use and it's what I am used to. This black machine switches off after about 20-30 minutes - saves me having to remember to switch it off before leaving the house. I can't say how it compares with other coffee makers as I am pleased with this model.

This replaces the same coffee maker that I had already, but guess that the heating element gave up the ghost on the last one(not purchased from yourselves!). Am very happy with it, but would ask a favour of you, if I may. Do you have a 12 cup carafe for the 12 cup version, as the glass broke on my previous 12 cup one, so am anxious to replace that too....?

A classic design that does the coffee without gimmicks or unnecessary features. Simple to use, in fact, intuitive. Coffee is good. Sold from Germany but comes with a UK 3 pin plug adapter.

Classic, reliable, no-nonsense coffee maker. Makes excellent coffee and stays nice and hot for 40 mins until auto off kicks in. Bought to replace identical model which lasted 28 years.

I bought this at a bargain price as a backup for my existing machine, which must be around 15 years old. I agree with the German reviews that this newer version feels a little cheap and flimsy compared to my existing model. Needless to say it's not made in Germany any more, but I think it's down to the quality of the materials. I don't like the new single on/off switch. It lacks the precise, quality feel of the old one. The machine also seems to be a tad noisier. I love the design and it works really well and looks great, but it's not worth 40 or 50 pounds imo. Also, the glass jugs are expensive to replace. Btw I advise not removing the pouring flap on the lid when you wash the jug as the plastic fittings are fragile and break easily. Still a great machine but not worth 5 stars any more.

Bought this as had previously very disappointing experience with a Cuisinart machine. This Braun has a nice and neat appearance, compact and easy to use. Just add the water, open the front for the coffee filter, close up and press start. Quick to brew, not too hot and keeps the jug warm for 49 mins. Saw other positive reviews and just hope our will last as long as other people's has. February 2026 update. Unfortunately, this machine is extremely vulnerable to scaling. Even using the lightest bottled water, we have found It to completely scale up within a few months and then it takes upto 40mins to brew. In fact, the hot plate will switch off before the coffee has finished brewing. We have had two replacements in a year, all the same...works great for first few months, then basically dies.... Disappointing experience

i love the coffeemaker.. then again I had the same product in 1984.. the problem is simple the cost of having a converter/transformer was just a bit TOO much money in the meantime.. i truly wish braun would return to selling the aromaster in north america ..

Braun still makes the best coffee maker machine. Less hassle easy to maintain and makes good coffee out of it.

prodotto facile da usare: basta mettere il caffè in un filtro di carta sullo sportello anteriore, mettere l'acqua nel serbatoio e premere il pulsante di accensione. Il caffè è pronto dopo pochi minuti e gocciola fuori dalla caraffa. Facile anche da lavare visto che lo sportello si può estrarre.
