Everbuild 405 High-Performance Path and Patio Seal – Solvent-free – Clear – 5 Litre

There is no point cleaning your Patio and Driveway, re-pointing or re-sanding without finishing off the job with a quality sealer. Having cleaned / sanded both Driveway and Patio I did some research and, having never resealed before, I decided to use the Overbuild 405 Product. It came well packaged in clear plastic bag to ensure any leakage did not escape and damage the packaging. I decided to apply the product using a Pressure Spray Wand, as I didn't have a Log Pole for a Roller and didn't fancy crawling around on hands and knees at my age. Point of advice, if using a Spray Wand, make sure you choose a day without any wind to ensure the product applies evenly. I set my spray nozzle to not quit the finest spray pattern and away I went...WOW, it was easy and applied evenly. It's easy to see where you spray /apply as the bricks/slabs change to a darker colour but they return to normal colour when dry. Also, if you apply too much you can see the product gives a slightly blueish tinge. One 5 Litre Bottle covered a double car Driveway easily and stops the sand from being washed away during rain or car washing events. I recommend x2 Coats but the second coat only needed half as much application so 5 Litres did both Driveway and Patio. Highly recommend this product to keep your hard work looking professional and long lasting...time will tell...🤔

Why did you choose this product over others?: I was recommended to use everbuild products by a builder and so far I haven't been disappointed by them including this one. Value for money: I think it was good value Quality: Yes it is watery as others have stated but I assume that it needs to be to be absorbed into the stone. Ease of cleaning: Since it has effectively water proofed the stone is easy to clean and also none slip. Dries quickly: It dried very quickly but I applied it on a hot summer's day. It does lifts the colour of the stones and imparts a sheen to them which personally like. What can't comment on is the longevity of this product since I have only just applied it hence the 4 stars, so we will see! Smell: It is water based so has little or no smell.

Just love the finish this sealant leaves after application. Don’t be tempted to apply too much at once as it will leave a foamy residue. Really easy to apply with a roller on an extendable pole. I put 2 coats on a 50sq mtrs Indian sandstone patio, bought 2 x 5 litre bottles and have half of one bottle left. The satin finish is lovely and no more staining from dirt or bird poo, would definitely recommend

Not to sure about this product to be fair! I applied as per instructions using the spray method, I waited until the temperature was within limits and the patio (indian sandstone) was dry and took care to avoid pooling. The results were excellent the colours in the paving really popped and it repelled moisture nicely. However following the late snow in March the patio has developed a white bloom which everbuild tell me is moisture trapped under the seal and the only answer is to remove the sealer and re apply jury is out regarding the cause, the patio has been laid for 6 years so should be stable, I will wait until much warmer weather and try again

Works well, don’t let it pool. Easy to apply. Reasonably water resistant.

Have used this on my Indian stone patio and paths and am more than happy with the end product. Obviously ensure your paving is clean and free from debris before applying then apply using roller or spray. I used a roller and it went on nice and easy, just make sure you work the product evenly across your paving to avoid any pooling. After 1st coat I was a little disappointed in as I expected a wet look finish, but the I applied a second the a third coat and it gave the finish I was looking for. My paving now has a low sheen wet look appearance and the different colours in the stone have really been enhanced. Have also used it on my tegular block drive way but made the mistake of brushing the sand in 1st. If you are going to use this on block paving I would suggest jet washing, then apply the sealer, then brush the sand in, this will prevent the roller spreading the sand across the surface and when it dries, the sand sticking rock hard to the surface. Alternate, if you do brush your sand in 1st, you may get away with applying the seal with a spray though I haven't tried this method myself. Have also applied this seal to the stone cladding tiles on my garage and they look great. Over all, I am very pleased with this product and the results it has provided. Have only give a 4 star score as I don't know yet how well it will do over winter.
