Great water softener.
Quite a large unit so had to go sideways into my kitchen cupboard. Mine was a little awkward to install mainly down to the location it was going into. Everyone's experience of fitting will be different but the instructions are pretty easy to follow. Water softness difference you can tell within half a day and the enclosed test kit confirms this. Had it in 4 weeks now and probably only a quarter of the way down the salt blocks in the container. Would recommend.

I was a little disappointed on several counts
The device is installed and appear to be trouble free. I was a little disappointed on several counts. There was no cap for the brine well, no plastic tubing for the overflow and drain pipes and the water fittings were for 22mm coper pipework instead of the 15mm that most installations would need. Fortunately, I was replacing an old AD10 so was able to swap these components to the new one.

Could not fit install it with the hoses supplied, so had to get suitable ones. cover was cracked, but does not seem to effect function, so far. Delivered a few days early, so it was fortunate that we were at home & able to take it in.

Tapworks AD11
This product is amazing. I have now installed about 10 including 2 of my own in different houses. Easy to install, completely reliable, Small and have fitted one inside of the sink unit the other under the work surface. You need only to check the salt level about once a month to top it up. I would not install any other softener after using this product and would never live in a house where there was no softener as this is a money saving device. Worth every penny.

Big difference to water quality
This is an excellent unit which cost us about £200 to have professionally installed. It has made an incredible difference to the quality of our water and operates without any noise. In fact we forget it's in one of our cupboards hidden away. Cannot think of any negatives, this is a great unit. Two year warranty included.

Seems a decent softener
Nearly bought a Hague at 3x the price, but after trawling reviews all over the place concluded that any small running cost saving - maybe - wouldn't pay for itself in my lifetime. Only been in a month or so, but it seems to be doing the job just fine. It certainly isn't a posh looking beast, mainly plastic mouldings, but it's not on display. The plumbing fittings are substantial metal things with big flexis. I'll maybe return in a year to give an account of running costs, etc.

Nice compact softener. Good value for money.
If you have already had a water softener you’ll probably already have a bypass valve set up. Hence you won’t need the bypass valve supplied. However the supplied pipes are 20mm which means that if your existing set up is 15mm you’ll need a couple of conversion hoses. Once I had these it was just like plumbing in a washing machine. Good instructions supplied supplemented by ‘Youtube’ content. Very pleased, works well.
