I don't do this weekly thing - I just do the daily one - i simply put a little on my toothbrush wet brush and I have been doing this for a few years now and my teeth look pretty good. I have implants so I cannot take them out. I think the manufacturer recommends you steep dentures once a week to keep them fresh and clean.
