Review: Built for the apocalypse. Get one before they stop making them. - I love this stove. I already have the Everest 2x but the Mountaineer takes it to the next level. Same heat output but just seems better built. It will outlast me for sure. I also love that the hose hooks directly to bigger tanks. I have a 5 lb. propane tank and it will run the stove over a weekend. If you can find them, get the screw on legs. They make it so convenient. I found the controls to be easy and the flame control is great. It is a bunch of money but worth it if you don't ever want to replace your stove.

Sturdy, well designed, and lightweight aluminum! I like that it comes with a hose to connect to my 20 pound propane tank. I took off 1 star because it's way overpriced. Especially with the poor build quality. The welds are uneven, there are many rough/sharp edges that needed filling, and one burner was mounted crooked. But it seems to function well. Update after camping for 2.5 weeks- It gets plenty hot, but hard to keep on low without the flame going out. Also my wife says the knobs are confusing, because one label is upside down (and it won't come off without tearing).
