Hands Of Light: A Guide to Healing Through the Human Energy Field

Do be careful who sells it through Amazon!!!!!!!; You could be waiting almost a lifetime (in my opinion)! Being one of the most cynical people where if you cant see it, it doesn't exist; when i first read this book, and with intrigue kept going, it was most remarkable. Having read it some years ago, and seeing the other reader comments later, I'd only imagine they were reading having had some pre-concedved expectation. All I can say is, that my heightened awareness is at such a degree, I can pin point any individuals deficiencies so quickly, I know post will fall through my door in advance, a policeman/woman will be sitting around the next corner if that seat left is not on, and when how so surprised people are when you turn around to those that have been speaking about you in confidence but not hearing a word and then looking them straight in the eye, because you some how just how exactly what had been said. That really does make them feeling somewhat at loss. All as long as you have learnt how to relax, become at ease with your self and then turn it on and off as you need. We all have to work and take our own time. Those where my hands have been placed, have without any doubt, could not comprehend how possible things can be, and I still, even after all this time, wonder why, and how, but needs to keep going. If you, or I can stop asking why? when the mind starts relaxing because of the things that present themselves, oh how quickly things move to another dimension. Read it, work through the sections, and i'd be extremely surprised if you haven't been incredibly blown away by the outcome!

Somebody lent me this book. I thought that I would probably not find it that interesting and left it on the side for ages. Once I started to flick through it, I could not leave it. I had to buy my own copy. It is very informative in a methodical and scientific way. It is clearly written and is not full of waffle.

This book could be the introduction into energy healing. But it's so much more than that! Even my friend - a professional energy bodyworker and masseuse with 40 years of experience was astonished by this book. It is really one of the very few books that also helps to understand the mental/spiritual processes most of us undergo during our spiritual growth. If you are currently in this process, sometimes you are not sure if you just dream some things or if it was real etc. This book helps you to understand what's going on:) Mrs. Brennan explains how she has been widenening her consciousness during her life so far and shows us what we could do to be able to perceive and work with energies on different planes of the body/spirit. She also explains how our mental conditioning affects our lives and bodies, how can see what's going on in the body and mind by examining an individual's chakras, how to "fix" the problem and balance the body through chakra and bodywork etc. You will find here also very helpful advices on how to work with clients and how to work on yourself.

Excellent, eye opening book. Bought this because my tutor recommended it as a reference book but I am reading it cover to cover and I am fascinated!!! It is a bit tricky to keep up with in places but it is an in-depth subject so is to be expected but there are plenty of areas within each chapter to break off and digest what you have read. It has really changed the way I think about things (along with Betty Shine) and it explains everything well with little excercises at the end of each chapter to put what you have read into practice if you want to. I bought mine used but it is well worth the money for a new one!!

This is a very useful book on understanding the Aura and the chakras. It has practical exercises for opening the chakras and maintaining balance. The text is written in a clear and concise manner which explains everything in good detail but is not too heavy a read. Every chapter has a lot of information to absorb and is very thought provoking. A very good reference book to have and use in the therapeutic environment. Definitely worth buying for the bookshelf!

This book describes a very usefull model of human subtle energies: 7 chakras and 7 subtle bodies. This model is consistent (partially or complitely) with many texts on Kundalini yoga and Tao practices. Consistent and clearly presented this model can be usefull to make sence of emotions/feelings/mental patterns/belief systems/goals ect. and how these influence each other and particularly what happens when we get traumatised or sick. Might help people to make sence and get out of a stuck situations in their lives as this gives a nice model to correlate different aspects of the "dis-ease" and how we can help ourself to live healthier lives.

Really interesting and detailed book about energy healing. Covers all sorts of things such as the different layers of our bodies, what happens to the soul at conception and death, how you can heal past life traumas. It's the sort of book you need to read a few times to take it all in. Lots of case studies and stories of the author's experiences which make it very readable and inspiring.

This is a BIG book that will take you a long time to read, but similarly to Touch For Health by John Thie and Matthew Thie, as well as Healing With The Chakra Energy System by John Cross, this is a must-have if you are serious about subtle energy medicine.
