I’d say yes - a small amount... but I’ve only needed to once, more about that in a minute... because powder works so brilliantly in the roosting shed and they have the garden after lunch, and they dust bath in raw earth; but when I’ve had a one and only mighty mite outbreak I’ve added some to where they might dust bath, just a sprinkle, just to boost the effect for them; but when the mites went I soon forgot to add the powder to the dug out bunkers! If you’re trying to slam an outbreak then it works without harm but I’d be cautious in amounts. Also part of the best solution was to loose-the-old-wheels-nest-boxes-seen-painted-pastel-colours-on-Pinterest (and I thought, awe, too cute. I’ll copy that). In reality the mites festered in the inner dip that didn’t get a good clear out, even with careful complete straw changes with serious stuffing in the tyre. Mites positively thrived! Ghah. Awful. Clear ones not ted ones. Within days we were itching at the ankles just trying to collect the eggs! So now they have old freezers drawers. No hidden dark nooks. No mites, but I swear this powder stuff was the other best thing I did. I sprinkle on the ‘turds’ before I brush them out and then I liberally coat the floor, corners and edges afterwards. Ready to start again. I only have roosting perches and no straw on the floor. Don’t need it. Love this powder. **Q: Does this come in the plastic tub as pictured?** A: Stalosan does come in stout plastic tub with handle. It comes well packed usually. As always it depends on where you buy it from. **Q: can this be used for ducks?** A: I’ve used it to sanitise our hen coop for 10 years. Don’t keep ducks myself, but the Stalosan web site says it can be used for ducks, game birds and other poultry. Note: I sprinkle it liberally on the floor and over the straw in the nesting box after cleaning out the coop; I don’t apply it directly to the hens. The website refers to it as a litter sanitiser It soaks up moisture, so you must keep the lid on tightly to keep it fresh. **Q: Can i use this on concrete floor where dogs wee.or will it create mess thankyou** A: It’s a pale pink powder, so will leave a mess.
