Do the pieces have to go as shown in picture?

Yes this sectional comes in 3 boxes and when putting the pieces together each piece just clicks into each other. Very easy to put together. Hope this help’s very happy with this purchase for the price.

Does the counsel have USB availability

There is no USB ports in this sectional. I keep an extension cord in the side pocket and plug in a USB cable to the extension cord. That works fine (if you have a close electrical outlet nearby). Great sectional for the price and really easy to put together.
