The way I do this is to download Audacity (a freeware program) and load the recorded album into it. I started looking at the deck's 'split' function but it's horribly laborious and unless you sit next to the deck while the record is playing, you could easily miss a track change. Audacity does take a bit of getting used to , but it is quite simple once you get the hang of it. Track boundaries are easy to spot for most albums since there are troughs in the recording and you can check anyway by playing the recording from where you think the track change takes place.. You can then mark the track change and name it. The 'help' that comes with Audacity is good and will explain how to do all this. One thing to be careful of though, when Audacity refers to a 'track', it refers to its ability to multi-track (e.g add a voice recording track to another recording track), and does NOT refer to the individual music 'tracks' on the album. **Q: Does this model have an aux input?** A: no, it has 2 x RCA (red & white) AUX outputs...Erm....so why would you want an input? **Q: what speakers and connection cable package should i buy with this** A: hi, you need an amp & speakers for this to hear music. regards **Q: Can you plug headphones to this turntable?** A: No. It needs to be connected to an amplifier auxiliary input for speaker or headphone output.
