It has a lot of 90s cheese to it, but it's still a very fun read for those who want to enjoy a good crossover event that's big in scale. Plus, it has some great Mark Bagley art in certain chapters that are actually issues from The Amazing Spider-man comics in the early to mid 90s. Maximum Carnage was a very fun read before the whole Clone Saga began and almost bankrupted Marvel comics in the late 90s. Honestly, Spider-man: Maximum Carnage is a must read for any Spidey fan who wants to read some good 90s Spider-man comics.
