The highly absorbent wound pad is covered with a non-adherent film to prevent breakage and also reduce any potential trauma when the adhesive dressing is removed, the non-woven design of the dressing even helping to reduce healing time. This dressing is one of the best I’ve ever used. It is a good size and the pad is very absorbent. Great for exudate and doesn’t stick to the wound. The adhesive stays firmly stuck to the skin, but is painless and easy to remove. The price of these quality dressings is absolutely brilliant, compared to Mepore type dressings. Can’t see why NHS Supplies are not buying these dressings as a preference. No wonder the NHS is running out of money!!

**Q: Is the adhesive suitable for very thin skin - normal plasters can pull my skin off.  Will they withstand a shower?**
A: I don’t have thin skin but it hurt a ton to take off! Really sticks to you and leaves a mark when trying to pull off, I ended up soaking it with warm water to get it off painlessly. That said, it did withstand a shower if I didn’t touch it. I wouldn’t recommend it for thin skin.

**Q: It says "apply shiny side to wound" but both sides are shiny? Does it matter?**
A: The dressings used to be produced with just one shiny side so it mattered which way up they were applied. However, now they are produced shiny on both sides so it can be applied either way.

**Q: is each dressing individually wrapped?**
A: Hi , yes each dressing is wrapped individually

**Q: What is the pad size on the 10x8cm excluding the adhesive edge?**
A: 30mm wide by 50mm length measured through the packet.

They're good and can be cut to size but the glue is too strong, hard to remove and leaves a lot of residue. I was disappointed as it was hassle to clean it off my skin.
